I didn't see Unteralterbach or Trap Quest in any of the pastebins. They're the only western games I've played, other than newgrounds stuff and Katawa Shoujo.

Didn't know the endings were not in the gallery which is dumb.

If you want to repeat the ending of Noxian Nights after you're in the gallery you do the first blowjob scene and it ends with you back in his shack. You can then run all the way back to the ruins and repeat the boss fight to end up back at the endings part again. The ruins bossfight starts the moment you enter this time so you don't have to navigate that maze.

We are talking about a game in RPG Maker here, not a custom engine.
The engine is literally designed for people with no programming knowledge to use it.
There is also tools for translating RPG Maker games available.
So no, that's not really complex. The hardest part is the language, actually sticking it out and delivering a decent translation instead of a shit one.

And yes, I have worked with RPG Maker, translated something made in it before and fixed other translations up a bit.
I am also an actual developer though.

The tentacle stuff is... not normal. Essentially, if you play the game successfully, you won't see anyone getting fucked by them, but the designs for the tentacle "monsters" are going to be pretty out there.

The atmosphere of the game is probably an equal combination of Drama and Action/Adventure, with a bit of dark/deadpan humor and romance as well.

I can't really say much about the actual plotline itself though beyond the point of you being inside of your own psyche/brain and a lot of the game being rooted in equal parts IRL science and science fiction, but if you played Magic Matchup to completion, you'll probably have an idea of some of the mindfuckery I have planned, but just on a much larger/complex scale.

Thanks! We should be posting a lot more content soon, a lot of what's being done right now is behind the scenes stuff (writing and pre-production things).

The biggest hurdle so far is going to be that the background artist wants to get paid up front until the Patreon starts making enough that his cut is enough to pay for 4-5 backgrounds a month done by him, which is totally valid of course, but I'm in a catch 22 situation;

We need to get backgrounds for the game to make the initial demo, which will get us enough Patreon support and money that we can easily afford him...

...but we can't get backgrounds without the money to pay him up front, and right now I don't have that money. I will in a month or two, but right now I'm definitely not able to afford it, so people pledging early to the game are literally making it possible for the demo for the game to come out (and thus production to move along a lot faster).

But, that said, one way or another, I'll be able to produce the money to pay them and the game will get its demo + get completed, it's just more pledges = getting that done sooner. In the meantime, I'm continuing on getting a ton of stuff ready under the hood, as is Ge-B and ASANTE (the programmer).

And of course, I'm still focusing on FF and II and such too.

There's still RPGMaker, which isn't all that difficult to use. Nah, that's me creating a custom event in RPGMaker to manipulate the values. Basically gonna have a map I can teleport to that has all the characters standing around, and at each I can change their affection/corruption levels.

Add in a Crystal that links it to the main hub and bam. Cheat room.

The portal is through the maze. The directions are revealed on Ice King's posters after you turn the lights out, the arrows on the naked princess posters from left to right. First level is a Flashback, showing the MC breaking into a Templar guarded heritic temple in search of Arcane knowledge, he gets the book that allows him to control and change folks before getting Jumped by a remaining heritic and using the Book's power to mind break them, leading to the game's first sex scene. The Heretic becomes your recruited ally for the first level and as you try to escape you face your first "Boss" a Novice Templar.
Depending on if you can keep the heritic alive, both they and the novice Templar are your first couple of allies.
From there you're giving the choice of three kingdoms to try and usurp.
One focuses on regular humans, One is a Kingdom of Amazons (if you chose the Male MC you have to get captured by them), and the third is one of the last magical kingdoms not whiped out by the Templars.
After you take one of the three the others become harder to take for some challenge and after you take all three you can attack the Nation's Templar base which ends the game.
There'd be optional villages you can take over as well as secret bosses and bonus endings.
in the next post I'll go into more depth on the Kingdoms.

The First Kingdom is Basic fair, lots of baseline humans but is tied closely to the templars, so expect lots of clerics and holy men/women enemies. The Kingdom's ruler is Queen Z'Mana, after her husband died she refused to remarry and took over the kingdom. Her Daughter escapes to warn the Amazon Kingdom if you attack it first (and you'd get a special scene if you contront her with Z'Mana in your party after taking over the Amazon Kingdom).
The Amazon's Kingdom is a place where Women who've practiced tribal Magic to fuse themselves with beasts in secret before killing all the men, bolstering their numbers with by kidnapping and raping men before killing them. if your MC is female you can enter freely, but if you're playing as a male you have to fight your way out of the Dungeons and open up a way for your party to get in contact with you. Enemies are beast women and the Boss is Queen Galia who fused herself with a monsterous man eating bull.
The last one is full of Heretics and Black Mages (though there is a optional White Mage Superboss) Which is ruled by the Dread Sorcerer Dormaliaus, a woman hating necromancer who plans to kill the templars with an army of undead.
