I felt like making an appreciation thread for an iconic R34 artist from a time before that rule was even official. Probably the first lewd/porn artist whose work I would seek out independent of character, mainly because it kept popping up under every character you'd search for. Of what few nude pics of desirable cartoons there were to be found in the early 2000s, odds were a few of them were Sirkowski's.
For how formative his stuff was to 12yo b& me and how pervasive his stuff seemed for a time, I can never shake the sense that he fell out of the limelight super hard. This in spite of any degree of digging showing that the guy never really left. The Starship Titus series had a good run, Miss Dynamite seems to have persisted on and off, and he's got an active presence on tumblr and that Slipshine paysite. So is this notion of him disappearing just me not keeping close enough tabs over the years, or is that a common thought? I'd always had this image of him as a trailblazer in the early internet world of independent cartoon pronz, and it seems odd to me that he doesn't have a current level of recognition on par with Zone. Does that view hold water? Does him simply still being around speak to such a degree of success?

Riding the line, but I wanted this one in here so I could ask if anyone else remembers the site from back in the day for which this image was the entry hyperlink and whether or not that site actually belonged to Sirkowski. It was a pay site as I recall, and I know he had/was attached to a pay site, but with the frontier mentality of "image rights" that was that period, that's no guarantee.
Regardless, this image is burned in my mind as the penultimate R34 image of my youth. I wanted so bad to know what was behind it, convinced it held a kings ransom in jerk-it material of the highest caliber. Pretty sure I'd visit that page regularly in the hopes that one day I'd magically be granted entry.
To be young and stupid.
