Thanks for finally answering my year long question. I remember when you had only like 400 or so going into your patreon and seeing that goal. After a while I knew you must have hit that goal for several month, but the radio silence got me worried you weren't going to do shit unless your tumblr/pixiv got attacked (as in almost never). It would have been nice if you announce that you would actually start making the archive or that it is in the works at the least. If you actually did then I am sorry for missing it somehow.

I know a program you might possibly like to use for archiving, tagging, and sharing your work.

In short, this is a portable image database designed to replace the old way of sorting your images in folders by using a tagging system like a booru. You could upload your images and flash into this, tag them, then set it up as an online gallery and share the key to other hydrus users and they can automatically download the works tags and all. This would be a great alternative for you to use while you design your own archive website.

I haven't fully integrated into using hydrus yet, but from the time I have been using it I can tell this will eventually replace my shoddy millions of folders for sorting images out. I am waiting on the author to rework his website crawlers before I decide to go all in. The guy updates every Wednesday so it might not be too long until it has everything I need.

Sorry if I sound like a shill, but I think this program could really change things for people. I think this shortstack general and many others could benefit from having a dedicated hydrus gallery that could be maintained and make it easy for people to grab all the OC without having to use a 4chan archive.

I think you may be misremembering the bra size, is all. A lot of people don't really know how it works - the number(band size) is chest/rib cage circumference in inches not counting the tits, the letter describes the actual size of the tits compared to the rib cage. Trying to design a different kind of goblin than I usually do. I want goblins (and other races) to appear in Alfie in the future, but I don't want them to just be colorswaps of halflings.

As long as they have tits and/or ass, there will be market for that, I'd say you can go pretty far out with it, though, even though I'm sure you realise that, the more odd you make them, the more pain it will be to draw them getting fucked, and doing anything else, while keeping the odd anatomy coherent with the design. In case (heh) of the one you posted, I can imagine those hands and long arms taking a while to get used to when placed at odd angles and positions.

There's a lot of factors in here. The behaviour, the way they speak, the way they clothe and so on. Not every adult woman has a D to H breasts and a massive butt, yet they mostly look their age and are hard to confuse with actual kids, even if they happen to be short. That said, when you can't/don't get into details like that in the art and the plot that goes with it, I can see it being a problem.

I am also pretty sure that it's the laws relating to "of-ageness" of a drawn character that are actually bothering you here, in which case none of what I said above matters and it's all up to the person in the court or whatever that's going to judge them. Like that, someone particularly butthurt could already claim that halfings in Alfie are too kidlike.

Think of some of the defining traits of your halflings, and then think about how the gobs should be different.

Are they taller? Shorter? More or less slender? Do they have bigger eyes and ears (for better use at night?)

Are they used to birthing larger families so they have wider hips? Does their hair tend to be messier? What kind of clothes would they wear?

I think in the ways you ask yourself the questions about how you want them to be different you'll find out how you want to do them. For the record while I like what you drew, it doesn't appeal to me like your previous gobs have. It's just a little too monsterish, which might be good, but I like them a bit more human-like.

I think that with the "wholesome", socially strict Halflings and their very modest clothing you should start defining their differences culturally first, then let the physical go from there. I do like the idea of them being bigger eared and bigger eyed, it'll give them a bit more an innocent look.

I've always enjoyed the classic dnd version of goblins, even when they're made sexy but I like to make them slightly more sympathetic.

They're angry, they're kinda dumb on the whole, they're super tribal and have been forced throughout the ages to use traps to defeat their foes, all culminating in a race that are seen as untrustworthy by others. While halflings tend to adopt or even co-create culture from their human cousins (they have similar architecture, similar foods, same language), goblins are fiercely isolationist, only ever usually interacting with other non-goblin races in order to steal from, kill, or enslave them. When they do barter with humans (an act that becomes more and more common as time goes on as certain goblin tribes realize there's things to be gained from trade) they develop what is often described as "uncharacteristic greed" for a race that often rely on generalized reciprocity within their own groups. As a human or other race trying to get a good deal with a goblin is near impossible. This is commonly thought to be because they're shrewd negotiators when it comes to business, but in actuality it's because they vastly overestimate the worth of whatever the own due to not understanding the world outside of their network of caves. Any offer that is too low for a goblin's goods (a common bartering tactic to drive down prices) will simply insult the goblin, causing him or her to either walk away or attempt to steal from whomever wronged them when they're not looking in order to "correct" the slight against them.

Goblin fashion tends to consist of hides, leather, and repurposed materials from raids on humans or materials bartered from human trade . An isolated Gobbo (slang for a goblin not in its home clan) or a goblin that has regular contact with other races can actually be seen to be quick thinkers that learn readily from their surroundings. Recently some goblins have even gone so far as to send emissaries to cities and towns to gather knowledge on humans and their stuff. Sometimes this results in raiding parties being formed, but rarely and more frequently trade deals will occur.
