Also, what's with the blur in your pics...they're digital, so it's not like it's a bad scan of a paper drawing...if you're trying to add depth of field you want to only do that when part of them is super close to the viewer, like a punch at the screen or something...it's also good for backgrounds if you want.

So in the middle of a conversation with danko he asked how the dragons in Clara's story gathered their treasure, they pretty much excavated the minerals and refined them all by themselves. way before human kind was a thing.
Instead of human sized coins they made metal spheres and filled their caverns and dungeons with them, it's pretty much a bunch of dragons laying in giant ball pools made of gold and other metals.
Felt like sharing Clara in her own pool.

You all ever wondered what's up with that stupid belt Ammy wears across her chest?
Well that's a left over of a previous version of her that had a more dramatic past, she was originally going to always carry her Mother's sword since the day she was killed. Ammy wasnt able to actually USE the sword but she always carried it and near the end of the game she would finally equip it to take revenge on her mother's killer. The belt was to hold the sword's scabbard to her back.
Then sometime later I realized that was stupid scpecially because WHO Ammy's mother was, in the end I scrapped all that dead mother stuff and just made Ammy live with her mom happily, I kept the belt as memento of that era even if it kinda makes no sense since Ammy can equip other weapons that arent Swords so she always carrying a scabbard makes no sense.
But thats just how I do, I always keep details about scrapped ideas to characters even if they make no sense in the new characterization.

A few yeah. The one I remember off the top of my head is RenPy, which uses python. They're quite time consuming to make anything with, though, even as a short joke. You basically need a team to get anything done fast.

Now that I think about it, it wouldn't be very hard to do a VN using RPG maker, quite easy in fact. it would not even require custom RGSS scripts.
All you would need to do is do the interface using events to call images and set variables for every situation and make it change using the direction keys and since you are technically using image files and a bunch of variables you can have a very fancy looking interface without having to worry about coding it. The only drawback being that if you are trying to do overly fancy stuff lag may easily cause some nasty issues, but a VN hardly needs you to call like 20 events at a time. (Pic related is a fragment of an event string I used to create a "character select" menu for an old game I made. I as able to make a fancy menu without needing to write any kind of custom script for it.)
So on a TECHNICAL way it would not be very hard.
Now the actual hard part is that a VN needs good art and SPECIALLY good writing, and that's something even the best software in the world wont just give you!

Ironically doing a VN would be way easier than trying to do an RPG these days since all I would need is to get RPG Maker XP again and practice to revitalize my variable/switch/image event making skills unlike an RPG where i would need to somehow re-acquire all my RGSS scripts which these days is pretty much impossible since most of the community for XP is long gone..

You have the right idea.
I know making a project together sounds like great fun, but it's really not. The moment you start having to delegate roles and record contributions, things start to devolve. People will be dissatisfied with balance of power, people not in the project will feel left out, etc. This gets especially bad when it becomes a long-term project that goes on for threads and threads. Often, community projects on sites like 4chan don't get done on time, prolonging development and irritating people who were counting on a deadline. Sound familiar, Delta? Our thread isn't even for that. We're an OC thread, not a project thread.
Keep projects on /acoc/ spontaneous, open to everyone, and fast. They shouldn't last more than a thread and anyone should be able to pop in without having someone tell them what's happening.

Duo in the picture, but this is mainly for the front one named Deb. Deb comes from Debris and she's legitimately a dust bunny. Comes from a game concept of other alike creatures of small trash objects laying about the house personified. So a dustbunny dressed up like an actual bunny, good stuff. No idea if that counts as furry, though.

Yeah star pendant was a rather simplistic thing I made because he's a cosmic being. I think the last time I worked on the story he was basically a crystal from the cosmos that emitted so much energy that it seemed like a waste to leave it on its own, also due to it potentially destroying things if left unattended.
Things get out of hand as people fight over ownership of the crystal itself and its eventually stolen and taken in with a dark cult, thinking it was a message from their god.
Some prophets spoke of the space rock actually BEING their god, thus they gave it sentience and it beg-actually I'm probably typing a lot and spamming up the thread, so I'll leave it at that.

Not Ink (or anyone really) but one of the problems I have with body types is that I often draw them independently, and go for the body type I like the most by default. Then when they're placed together, I realise they're all so similar.
Whenever I draw groups, they tend to have a lot more variance. Makes me wonder if other artists have a similar problem of having a "default".

All my OCs were made with the purpose to be used on comics (that I never ended doing) or RPG maker games and none of them had any kind of sexual background whatsoever. They were not made with them ever being sexual in any way.
"Ammy" here is the exception since she got an entire joke sexual profile made by my friends so is the character I introduced here since it being a porn board I imagined it would be necessary for it to be sexual in nature.
Looking back I like more when Ammy is drawn in non-sexual situations, but I wonder if she would be even more uninteresting without all that oral stuff about her.

I dont even know how to rate Ammy, She would never dominate anyone ever, but she, while very easy to overpower, is not exactly submissive. actually shes years old but this is the first time I ever drew her.
Shes a tiny four armed reptilian alien. She keeps trying to talk to lizard due to them being closer to the same size and resemblance of herself. Shes an explorer and set out from her home planet to travel and see new things, with no real goal in mind.
However the universe is way way bigger than her tiny planet and she only made it to the "giant" planet of earth.
Shes surprisingly tough for a lil gal, and has the ability to climb surfaces like a gecko.

Squishy is probably a 3 or a 4. He's not totally dominant, but his size sort of lends itself to being in charge more often than not.
Kate and Kami are on their own inscrutable scale of dominance. They can go from dominatrix to sex slave personalities if it accomplishes their goals, so it's a bit difficult to tell what their preferences actually are.
If they had it their way Kate probably leans a bit more towards dominant while Kami is probably a bit more submissive. Say a 6 and a 4 respectively.

Yeah I like variety when it comes to bodyshapes. It's appealing, a good way for people to be able to identify your characters, and in some cases can give some insight to the character if the bodyshape is influenced by the OC's thoughts and habits.
What I want to go for most though is variety in personalities and traits between my OCs. So they dont collectively have the same mind or likes and such. And when they interact, they can surprise each other, break, or become stronger, and do so in a bunch of different ways. There are many types of strengths and weaknesses in this world. Some OCs that have strong bodies and weak wills, some with weak bodies and strong wills, and everything in between. When they work together and when they clash, it's just so interesting to see. I want to show it all through my OCs, the miracles and tragedies that can happen anywhere at anytime.
Sorry for the jumbled thoughts, its like 6am I should sleep. But yeah, this is just how my passion is. I hope it can inspire a few people.

Oh boy more off topic shit. I appreciate how the talk is a bit more towards the topic OF off topic shit, but that's just talking about the subject while resorting to its own level.
But whatever, I'm not helping by contributing to that topic, so I'll contribute to the actual, official topic. One of my more favorite characters of mine named Vanasso. Painter and the name comes from Van Gogh and Picasso. Initially a League of Legends concept but I grew to not really like the game anymore so he's my own little guy now. He's actually a somewhat red panda guy now but I know how the thread doesn't approve of furs, so I have an older picture that actually has him more human-like and how he originally was. Also got a sister, who originally was just him genderbent, named Vanessa. Story isn't entirely complete because I felt like his concept wasnt entirely liked so I didnt have drive to continue it. Anyways, so far he's a European man who inherited his own family's castle ages ago. So raised to be a bit of a spoiled and rich brat, he didn't have any challenges in life to shape him as a person. Come around his adulthood, he's head of the castle with his wife and many servants which he consistently neglects or even straight out insult. Deep down he knows he needs them for either company or admiration.
Through reasons not entirely decided yet, the entire estate is invaded by evil spirits. Wasn't just any old ghost haunting either, just about every one of his many servants were brutally killed and left on display in hallways. Zep is assumed to be the only one left alive and it makes sense as they were there to make him suffer, as death would be too easy an escape for him.
Walking around his now corpse-filled mansion, his only drive to even continue living is in hopes he can find his wife, as there had been no sign of her body any where and some particularly interactive demons of his would hint towards her existence, be it to torment him or have him live more to torment him.
So yeah dark as fuck story but its one of my few dark ones and thats why I got pretty attached to it. The game itself actually incorporates a lot of different stuff, making its own story as the story I just said is primarily backstory. Could go into details with the gameplay itself because that was another part of this concept I loved, but this post is probably long enough. Summary for gameplay is its a classic styled rogue-like, think Net-Hack and Dwarf Fortress, with classic horror themes, as in no god damn jumpscares and actually uses suspense.
