I'm not interested in going into someone else's project again. For me, it's just side work, but for a number of anons, this stuff represents the majority of their creative output, and they feel (rightly so) very protective and opinionated about it. Working with passionate people can be a dream or a nightmare. Either they're excited to see others excited about the work, or they're excited only when the project follows their ideas. Unfortunately, it's difficult to tell the former from the latter. Well, that and I'm lazy.

How would we know? Witch Trainer is a very dialog heavy game. The best scenes are just Hermione telling Genie about the nasty shit she's done. I mean yeah her facial expressions do a lot, but most of it is on the writing. Unless there are loads of cgs the writer is carrying the game. Did you even read Unknown's script dump? There was a lot there. Not to mention 4 Houses has like 2 other girls at least that size. Rook wrote loads of shit in the time he's been writing too. I didn't. I just put the expressions I wanted on one side, GIMP on the other, and redrew them. It's a pain in the ass, but it's the only way to get the expressions to match the new face. I based the heart on a panel from one of Akabur's comics and the teardrop and red box I drew like the expressions.

It's a good bit of work at first, but once you've got the layers you can do a lot with some creativity.

Not him, but copying drawings by Bammes is posibly the best thing you can do, along with simply drawing from life what is in front of you. Try to construct the object like a transpherent sculpture made of simple geometrical shapes. Draw lines around the form, rather than simply drawing contours/outlines. Imagine that thousands of strains of wool is going around the form.

The art is more than fine, and honestly beats the alternative of having long stretches without an artist or inconsistent art from changing artists several times. Am I the only one who remembers Korra Trainer? Trainer fan went through hell trying get artists and he just kept working on his game. Yeah, free writing was pretty bad, but I have to think a lot of TF's problems could be chalked up to those long stretches without artists. UE's been posting his stuff for what two days? And he's already got that much. It's not perfect by any stretch, but it's not at all bad.

UE said his goal is to make a "reasonably sized" game in a timely manner. I don't think he's interested in waiting around to find an artist that may or may not stay with the project. If his art at least doesn't get worse, I'd say he might actually make the first complete /stg/ game worth paying. If Mom Trainer isn't out by then that is.

Super Mom just didn't nab me. The writing was all pretty meh, and I just really don't like the art style. It just looks weird, like a Nicktoon or something and Heken is proprtioned all wrong. I can't believe I'm saying this, but even UE's monkey scratchings look better. On a technical level Super Moms alright, but unless they really surprise me I don't see it being very good.

On the flip side UE's already proven to be an amazing writer. I remember that glory hole story being fucking tight and his Cho scripts were great. The art is his weak point, and that's not even that bad. He's like a reverse Akabur.
