For example, if the girl has kinder tendencies, then she might be extra gentle or cautious around tiny folks. If a girl is more callous or less caring, she might be a bit less likely to notice/care/remember there is a tiny person.

If you're asking for a sort of 'all person' scenario with a tiny person finding, disbelief should be pretty high on the list (unless the person finding the tiny has something weird going on in their head or they know what is going on), and I'd have to assume most people would be cautiously investigative. Like, worried it might be a tiny demon or fae or that the person seeing it might be having a psychotic break. The very VERY first thing I think is safe to say all people would do would be to prove that the tiny they are seeing is real. Whether that means picking it up, poking it with a stick, talking to it, whatever, it needs to be established that the larger person is not going crazy for things to more forward.
