They look a bit similar but you did a good job making them uniquely recognizable!

I guess one main difference is that ammy, despite almost always smiling, has what is known as a "modest smile" and her face almost never shows confidence while Janet is known for her big confident grins.

In fact legend says that everytime Ammy has a big smile something bad is about to happen.

I was just trying something different with the lighting and agree that it looks a little odd without an apparent source and I am still pretty new to figure drawing.
Her name is Biancca and I am still working on her character, but I see her as the sort of person who's really shy and antisocial until you get to know her, then she is really outgoing and willing to please. I have only drawn her twice, but this is what I imagine her clothes look like.

Well, there's no reason for them to not wear shirts and dresses, actually! I've been searching and there are a lot of tools to help people without hands to be independent. And the wings aren't soo much bigger than a normal arm. It might seem like they are, but those are just feathers, and can sort of be fold to fit the sleeves

Ammy and I share quite a few traits (since she was planned to be very plain and boring so I filled lots of blanks in her characterization with a few of my own traits.) and lapses in logic would be something we easily would share.

Since Whipkick ain't human, he goes through a different aging process.
Once he's finished puberty, his aging process slows down to about 4 times the human average, meaning by the time he's 55, he'll still look like his usual self!
