Assultrons being kind of terrifying is a fact. So she strips the armor off and uses some tape and whatnot to make an Assultron costume.

She then uses the fear of Lazer-rape to get past raiders safely and get up to shenanigans.

It would be awesome to see a comic of this, but to truly make justice to the idea it would need to be big, or have a few blocks of text in the first few pages. From what I heard and seen of the mechanist DLC, it seems to be confirmed that you can indeed change Curie, Codsworth and even robots you hack into whatever customized machine you desire. So you can indeed put Curie into an assaultron body.
