Kinda always wanted to try my hand at writing some fatty stuff, I've got storylines in my head I think only I could tell exactly the way I want (not to mention many of the fine premises I've read in these threads that are never realized), but I've never really written anything before, my grammar and punctuation to my shame is not so great and overall I have no real talent or experience in actually describing fattiness. It's frustrating really.

I don't really agree with this. If you want to impart that their speech is punctuated by unintentional burping, I think writing it out is the only really effective way to do it. Just saying "xxx burped constantly as she spoke, grossing everyone out" isn't nearly as visceral as writing the actual "BRRAAP" or whatever sfx you choose.

I will concede that a burp sfx in place of speech that is a sudden outburst or overlapping someone else's dialog works. The burps interjected into sentences is very tricky because it works well in dialog bubbles for art but not quite as well in a story. I think you've just got some really deep-seated dislike for onomatopoeia that I don't understand. It's fetish fiction, if it's easily understood and does a good job of making the scene clear, I don't see what's so awful about it.

I think the sound effects thing can work, in moderation. That's the issue. Some writers just use it to fill the space that would be better off with exposition or just plain old descriptive writing.
Take a look at the first Power Girl story in the pastebin (not sure who wrote it): the burps are there interrupting sentences but they're not gigantic drawn out all caps monstrosities AND they're sharing the space with descriptions of how monstrous they are:

It's a challenge you -hurrp- wanted, it's a -blarrrp- challenge you'll get!" It's funny, it's sexy if that's your thing and most of all it's actually interesting to read.

(kidding). Anyway, I guess it's a matter of taste, but it seems overly silly to me, in places it didn't need to be. (in particular, places like the "your weak level 2 knees almost slammed together..."). Comparing everything to pokemon moves just, I don't know, takes me out of it.

I also think the whole thing is too short for its own good, with jerky movements in places, like the "you pleaded weakly, though you were already licking." That just feels really sudden. The quick switch between expecting the reader to hate it and love it is odd, as well ("don't I get a gas mask or something...?" to "the thought of playing in that slimy Diglet's cave was heavenly"). Also, is her hair a purple ponytail? I thought of it as more a swept-back scarlet.

Anyway, I think it was mostly just not intended for me, I like darker stuff. Your descriptions aren't really lacking but I think they would benefit from a little more time, length, and editing love.

I'm sorry but I think one thing that's lacking, beyond any specific character really, is giantess slob.

My advice to you, write what you want. Find a way to just make words come out. Even if it's just purple prose that goes on to just describe the body, do it. Anyone can slam words together, I'm proof of that. But you won't get anywhere if you don't get it out in front of you. Read it. Reread it. Get others to read it. Don't ask either them or yourself "did you like it". Ask yourselves "do the words flow well?" A second set of eyes will usually find a grammar snafu you might have missed. Outline if you have to, some write the way they speak and just let things flow out aimlessly, only in editing it will they ever refine their thoughts.

Nothing is gained by sitting idle and feeling sorry for yourself. Make an effort. Make it interesting. Ultimately, don't worry too hard about trying to appeal to some audience you might never win over. The harshest critic is yourself. When you look at what you write, you have to ask yourself: "Would -I- want to read this?".

And yet, don't stress it. This is fatty wank porn. Ultimately the main thing is that in some way, the prose is going to be enjoyed by someone. It's why I write things so tongue in cheek. If I wasn't having fun, I wouldn't be doing this.

Trip might not have had schools, whatever the hell those were for, but she had plenty of food now.

Monkey provided a lot of it, viewing her as the reason he was still himself and not the slack-jawed slave to Pyramid and Trip shared when she could.

But she also consumed.

Greeting the morning with a gusty fart, she stretched as far as she could. Curtains of flab hung down, partially obscuring her sweaty pits. Huffing and puffing, she got to her feet and walked towards the mouth of the cave she called home. Her thighs pressed together, their litheness long lost to an array of tasty delights Monkey had scavenged for her.

Of course, he also joked she should change her name to Pig, but she took the annoying jokes with the good and the good was very, very tasty.

Scratching aimlessly around her massive ass, she farted again and brought her fingers up to her nose, taking a deep whiff. She liked her own scent and it helped her deal with Monkey's overpowering BO most days. Running her non-flatus coated digits through her greasy hair, Trip threw on the mecha tarp she called her outfit these days and waddled down to greet her fellow survivors living in the mountainside, hoping some of them had a little food to spare.

I'm gonna offer some critique here. You're falling into, what I feel, is one of the traps of writing Dominant slobs.

They're not really dominating, as much as insulting and not doing much else (besides eating). There's a writer on deviantart who's especially bad about this. All his fat women are evil psychopaths incapable of doing anything for themselves, except whining. And everyone responds to their whining. That's not endearing, and it's not powerful.

Now, this isn't like that, but it could certainly do better. I liked the "100% chance you are a worthless bitch" thing because it had comedic timing and came across as clever. Showing cleverness is cool.


Buuuut there is a bit of veering into everyone wants to make demands of Link, but it's not clear why? Are they not capable of getting food themselves? If they just want as much as possible, why is only Link being treated like this? The cumulative effect is that Link seems to be the only person capable of agency in the story, which again undercuts the dominance effect.

This I can definitely say is one thing that made the Moffette story one of my favorites ever. It establishes why Moffette is doing this, and able to do this:

She won the battle, proved herself capable, was given command of the ship, and was "the only thing on the entire ship with a spine". She is, in fact, the only character in the story who actually takes agency and makes the story happen.

All that's super good, and this Hyrule story could use more of that.

subject matter repetition isn't stagnation, it's just obsession. It's not ideal but no one, least of all you, have any room to tell an artist they have to draw something different.

Now if you want to know what stagnation is that would be drawing the same pose or same plot over and over and never deviating. This is caused by an artist's fear or reluctance to try something new. They find an easy format and just keep reusing it never trying to evolve from that comfort zone.
Axel is sort of in a gery area here. He's doing butts for commissions and those commissioners never ask or pay for anything more than the same cheesecake butts. He could certainly try new ways of doing this, but he isn't doing anymore than what they pay him for. This is laziness on his part, doing the bare minimum for the pay.
