Oh yeah, you guys said you like back story, so i guess i can throw my oldest OC out there.

This guy right here. Been drawing him for seven years now. Started literally as a stick figure with a cape. Middle school drawing ability and naming ability lead me to name him "Stickman."

Like, their defining feature + man = their name kinda thing? (Superman ripoff basically.)

Spent years redrawing him. His line hair eventually formed into a messy shape. His cape got better, though he still retains the cartoon dot-eyes. His stick figures body became a sort of loose, over sized, flowing shirt with black/grey sweatpants. Doesn't wear shoes.

To be honest, he reminds me of Saitama from OPM. Hate to sound special snow flaky, but he was pretty hard to beat as i recall. Only weakness was his laziness, kindness, and air- headedness. Chalk it up to being 12 at the time of creation i suppose.

This is the first time i've ever shown him online as i've never had a way to upload until now. Every time i draw him he gets a little better. I guess when people say "it takes time" they really mean it. He started out as a legitimate stick-figure.

What do you guys think? Want anymore backstory?

You can tell if Kahrell's in heat when she ditches her jacket and tie and unbuttons her first two shirt buttons. Her eyes also open to a sultry slit.

Well, Still putting it together. Basically, she lives in a fantasy world that's sort of a combination between futile Japan and the Middle East during the crusades. She joined the military to help fight against demons that constantly attack her world. She used to use very basic magic to fight them, that was until she met a dude named Raven. She sort of became his apprentice and learned black magic.

This is a very interesting question because my OC's parents make her "skills" a bit more sad/hilarious.

Her mother was the main character of the first RPG maker game I made, she was an absurdly strong swordswoman which was pretty much brokenly strong in the game. My OC still lives with her mom at the start of the game (takes place around 23 years after my first game in the same continuity) and she has tried to train her in the way of the sword but the result is so pitiful, she also tried to teach her offensive spells (for a reason I will explain in a bit) but she is really bad at that too.

Her father is a bit more interesting, it was never properly "revealed" in the game who her father is but the player could deduce it if they payed attention (and bothered to do her sidequests, which no one did), he was originally a male magic user in my first game which was incredibly strong using offensive spells but was very weak both phisically and emotionally, he was a bit of a pushover loser. He becomes the main antagonist of the game my OC is from and she never met him or knows he is her father.

Which means "Ammy" can use swords like her mother (strongest sword user in that world canonically) but is terrible at it and she inherited her father's huge magical power fully... but she is SO INCOMPETENT at using it her spells have a mere 10% chance of hitting at full power, otherwise they do 1/4 damage or do nothing at all.

Yeah, she sucks.

Oh she also has a twin sister but that's not the topic at hand.

Here is the thing, I made this games several years ago (the last one i made circa 2008) and my old computer kinda exploded on me, I lost almost all of my games and RPG maker itself and these days i have a toaster to use for my browsing needs, which is why now i draw with a darn 3DS. doesnt help I used to upload the games to share them in Megaupload so those are lost too.

I still have a not-editable copy of the game RPG girl is from (the last one i made actually) but it was a game made specifically for my friends, so it contains a ton of inside jokes and personal details which make me be unconfortable with sharing it to strangers. The reason she has one horn is because she was wrecking havoc when she "first" came to Earth and challanged the Priest, who retaliated by ripping it off.

Since everyone else is posting histories, I'll add Dillon the Explorer's

Dillon actually started out as a frumpy field researcher who was caught by a Succubus and turned into a sex demon, herself. Her body was so corrupt that it became like putty in the Succubus' hands and she was molded into a toned, voluptuous form as well as receiving a huge, demonic member.

It's very funny because "Ammy" should actually been super awesome, her parents are both two of the strongest people in that world and she was a weird case where she got the power that was intended to be for her twin sister.

To make it simple, in the game theres a thing called "Alma" that is just basically the person's "magic power" to put it in other RPG terms, everything has "Alma", even rocks, but once in a million chance a person can be born with none of it, which causes it to basically be doomed to be weak and worthless.

Point is, "Ammy" by a twist of fate absorbed her sister's intended "Alma" while in the womb so she has twice as much as a normal person and her sister has nothing.

The hilarious thing is that her sister, doomed to stay at level 1 forever (in the game people "level up" when they absorb the "Alma" of defeated monsters, when they absorb enough their basic abilities boost up a certain amount. but someone without Alma cant absorb it at all.) grew stronger by pure sheer will and training, can't use any skills or magic or anything, just can use "Attack" to put it in RPG terms. and yet she is one of the strongest characters in the game, if not THE strongest because lacking Alma has a few benefits. (she was a secret character tho, the story of the sisters is very long and I dont wanna bore people here with that.)

And "Ammy"? probably the person with the highest potential for greatness alive.... and she JUST SUCKS!

She has a big heart tho, she is a terrible party member but a good friend as characters in the game would describe her.

That's really interesting, specially because the twins idea didnt start as such.

Originally "Ammy" was just gonna be born with no magic or talent at all and be stuck at 0 MP.

But even back then she was still intended to be bad, not an "underdog goes the distance despite all odds" type character.

So I was like "wouldn't it be funny if it was the opposite? make her be insanely gifted but she somehow still fucks it up royally despite all her potential?" and as such the current "should be OP but just sucks" Ammy was born.

But I liked the concept of an ungifted character so much I retooled it into a literal clone, or "twin sister" in this case that would be separated from her family at a very young age and grew not knowing her real family or sister. and she is AWESOME despite being born to suck.

"Ammy" is a very bland and boring design but theres actually a lot behind nearly all details on her design, even that dumb belt across her chest has a "unused idea" story behind it.

Of all the OC's I made in my life, she went throught the most changes before the final design, and the final is just a bunch of tribute details to unused ideas.

A while ago someone posted a similar idea in /ic/, before I think even /aco/ was created. He named his Gata and I think she was supposed to be living in post-apocalypse Russia.

I'm debating on giving a power to my oc. I kind of want to have her be able to bend light, or control shadows. Is that cringey and too marysue-ish? It wouldn't be for something like fighting, but just to form temporary clothes, or hats and such.
