I'm not sure why it would give someone issues, i spent all of yesterday optimizing it, and its already not very resource intensive.

I programmed it so at the start of new rooms, to flushes all the textures and loads only textures specific to those rooms, then i went through and grouped specific textures so they are on the same pages, so that if it has to pull a texture page its less likely to pull a mixed page and also snag a resource not in use.

the only other person that had trouble running it from a test group was trying to run it on wine.

the software I produce is as clean as clean gets. If you notice a short lag at the start while its loading, that's likely because its going through all of the assets.

so far, some of the things i have in the works, is a dialogue system to replace the temporary bubbles, its more similar to an rpg dialogue system, and will feature branching conversations based on what you do in the game. that's 90 percent done.

a questing system, around 40 percent done, and a faction system, that will allow you to side with one of the 6 factions for unique fetishes, story arcs that effect how the world changes, and even game play in regards to perks.

i spend almost all of my free time coding the game. and my animator spends all of his free time trying to get animations out, including lunch breaks at work.

the spider girl blowjob is some 300+ frames of unique animation.

we came up with this project, a project that will remain free to all, because we noticed a severe lack of actual updates in most other peoples work. I won't call names, but it feels like people slap a few still porn images into an rpg maker game and try to sell it on almost non existant sex alone.

we estimate by the games completion, it will be several gigs in size.

I try to be as painfully up front as possible about the plans for the game, the situation as a whole, you get the idea.

The game, the interactions, player movement, they are all coded from the ground up, the project has made it this far without any form of funds, though we do need to get something going so we can get a proper artist in.

we originally had one artist we got rid of because he did not work for 2 months straight, outright bottle necking us(mostly because i needed at least rough outlines of art and whatever else so i could code for things like collision detection, and functions), and the second artist was a female who simply could not make the cut.

the animator has stuck with the project through thick and thin despite the fact i can't offer him any compensation at the moment has a constant eye for detail, even if something is out of sync or a few pixels mis-aligned he gets on me about it and makes sure i fix it.

the important thing is that I make something with depth, and I know that might sound silly to some, but I think the games quality is important, and once we can bring in a proper artist to match the quality of the art to the game, all the better.

planned features, as i mentioned, involved branching dialogue, well the reason for the is due to a 2 part system in relation to faction. So factions, which will need to be implemented one at a time, have a system that is finished and effects how they perceive you, fuck one faction enough and npcs will hate you and kill on sight, while being friendly with them will cause them to be passive, allowing you to just walk past.

the second part of the system allows non generic npcs, romance options, faction leaders, important figures to have their own opinion. meaning that if you favor one person, to the detriment of another, the second person will not be friendly, even if they are required to help you due to the faction as a whole loving you. this mostly effects dialogue

outside of dialogue it unlocks unique scenes, so the animator basically is putting in full animation, I am extremely tired of seeing still images, while explaining what is happening via text. get someone to like you enough, will unlock more and more stuff, so at a basic level someone may blow you, while if they REALLY like you, they may let you pick from a blow job, tit fuck, foot job, thigh job, you get the idea. this is for multiple NPCs per faction, there will be multiple gender options as well with unique start points, we are pushing for at the very least 1 unique sex animation per enemy, per gender.

so if you play through the game with one and want to go again with another gender, its not the same experience, not the same animations.

Take the time to read the texts, you first choose your dragon, which ever traits you like. Then the queen gives you a quest, it could be rape virgins or gain a certain amount of money or infamy. Red circle is the number of actions u can do before sleeping, grey is infamy and white is magical power/spells.

After completing a quest, go back to the dark queen at the lava place on the map and sleep with her. your 3 sons will keep your trait and will each produce an extra trait. so one son could have wings so u can fly, another could have gills to swim or an extra head = extra life.

Take the time to read what the queen wants and if you dont get it, go back and ask her again.

Remember, high infamy means a knight or thief will try to slay you at your den or rob you of everything. So always pick a good base after clearing one under the lair tab. And produce or hire minions to guard your homes.

Homes can also be protected by installing traps or casting magic traps.
