So I'm currently playing Sengoku Rance, and have played half of the MGQ series.
I've found is that these Japanese games, while superior gameplay wise to most WEGs, are really fucking bad at doing sex scenes. There's just so much fucking bad text doing the scenes. If the text added something to the scenes it would be great, but more often that not it's simply just a chore to read through it all.

Is this an issue with all/most eastern games? Why do they do it, and why doesn't WEGs do it to the same degree?

So I just tried playing "A Town Uncovered", that's the Summertime Saga clone where you get your dick bitten off by a fish (insert picture) as a new version (.11) was just released.

So I look at these two images and even though i hate 3DCG, these two images are better then the others due to nice body models and OK lighting. It's still bad overall and nothing I can fap too.

But I've been meaning to see if it's possible to 'stylize' them a little, as to try and slightly decrease the ugliness of the DAZ models.
For me pic related after a bit of vector tracing looks alot better. I tried to do it to all the 3D images here, but without proper lighting or lighting set with simple vectoring in mind it looks really bad, these two didn't turn out so bed, especially not the top one.

Again, I hate 3DCG so anything that looks slightly less 3D makes it an improvement for me. Does this actually look any better or am I just stupid?

Sure, I did the same process on all the 3DCP images in this thread, only those two looked decent.
Top one from my post looks pretty good though, but that's because of the original image's light quality.

I just put it through a simple live-trace in Adobe illustrator with low amount of colors. Thinking with the settings in small increments until I get something that looked decent. Only works well when image is overall well lit.

The second One I live-traced 3 times, once for BG, second for Body, third one for face. Then smashed them together in Photoshop.

Each game has a team of artist programmer musician sound effects voice actors, he does writing and marketing and general design and level creation. As far as I know it's his full time job so if you're a fast writer you can put out 30k words in a week easily if you're full time, he hasn't missed a monthly demo release in almost a year so as long as he keeps that up he must not be too overtaxed.
