In Kamalanon's story, when she returns to normal size, the main character ends up tiny, and stays like that even when he gets out of her belly. That might not be the most logical way for her powers to work, but it allows for plenty of size stuff to happen, so I think it's a good take.

But it also lends itself well to one of my favourite scenarios. I love the idea of a giantess picking up normal sized people and storing them on her person (in pockets, in bra, between boobs, down underpants ... in stomach), before later restoring herself back to normal size ... only for those captured people to have shrunk down to a relative size. The giantesses victims somehow feel like they've ended up as more of a victim (they're even -more- helpless) in that sort of scenario.

I like the idea of something like this: Kamala is in giant mode fighting some bad guy. She spots a cute little guy who has somehow managed to get himself in danger, so she quickly scoops him up, drops him in her pocket to keep him protected, then promptly forgets about him as she gets back into the battle. She beats the bad guy, shrinks back down, goes home, starts to undress in her room ... and then finds the tiny guy in her pocket. There's a lot of different ways a scenario like that could go ...

Also I'm a bit scared to advertise it on other places like City and whatnot. I was thinking about a complaint the other day about someone mentioning Spider-Man didn't have enough good female villains, so I started just brainstorming ideas for fun, and came up with a giantess villain.

She'd be a sort of like Cupid from Arrow where she's madly in love with the hero, so a yandere type. I sort of was thinking like a Kamala level fan girl, but evil.

I don't know if she'd be able to control her powers, but the way I imagined it was that she gets in some kind of research accident involving Pym particles and something else, so whenever she gets hit by energy or kinetic force, she grows bigger and tougher. (The chemical reaction might also make her be crazier?) If cops start shooting her it would just cause her to grow bigger, and then she'd just start causing chaos to get Spidey's attention

I was thinking of the name Hi-Rise for her supervillain name, and then her normal name could be Hila Reilly or Rosenberg or something.

I don't have much in the way of design right now, other than busty as hell.

Just thinking out loud and thought I'd put my ideas down somewhere.

Won't have the contest story done before midnight, but should be within in next 24 hours.

You could frame it as someone sitting down to watch a nature documentary. Adding another level of separation might allow you to make fun of the cliche nature of it and alleviate some of the awkwardness.

Okay so the story right now is 2.7k words, probably will be in the ballpark of 4k by the time I'm finished with it later tonight (I'll edit it later, probably on Saturday because I've got shit to take care of tomorrow). I actually took >>1645385's advice here and wrote ahead, it works out fairly well and came out with a scene I actually really liked.

Basically it's about a giant superhero and a giant supervillain having a tussle over the city. Right now it's very action adventure with some of the wink wink nudge nudge fanservice that cape comics really enjoy to throw in there.

Okay, I think I figured out how to salvage my story. Ditching the nature documentary frame, unfortunately, but had to be done for any progress to happen.

Think I'm going to bow out of this contest. At this point I'm just forcing it, and like Kamalanon so rightly pointed out: this is supposed to be fun. I think I just wasn't that interested in the prompt and was more excited for the framing device (that I couldn't make work). Also burn out.

For anyone interested, my story went something like this:

>Lives under the rule of a beautiful, busty, giantess.
>Has to spend hours preparing bread to give to her each day, and at some point a guy gets eaten.
>Describes criminal justice system, where there's a quota of 4 arrests a day, whether or not they're criminals.

>One day his bro goes missing.
>Not in the village, so assumes he ran off into the forbidden woods.
>Falls into a trap in the woods, along with several other humans.
>Giantess comes to collect the trapped humans, whom she has been trapping when they try to flee and, of course, eating them.
>He swears to her he wasn't running away, he was looking for his brother.
>Describes him.
>She says she knows where he is and fishes him out of her pussy.

Charlotte came with her best friend, Harriet, who had become addicted to these sort of places. They sat down in a dimly lit corner, best to go unnoticed since these sorts of places were not widely accepted. Not yet at least.

They ordered the house special. A large plate containing 12 miniaturized men and a bottle of fine wine. As soon as they came Harriet grabbed her first tiny morsel and slurped him in, feet first.

Charlotte smiled at her friend, always silly and playing with her food, since the second grade when they met. She picked up a tiny man, who was on his knees, apparently begging, but they didn't hear him.

She slurped him in, head first, and closed her eyes while she tasted him. After she swallowed and opened her eyes she saw a tiny man dangling in front of her

Just watched the relevant scenes on YouTube. Massive "meh". It was just the trailer shot, another super quick shot of Summer talking in a massively deep voice, and then the next shot involved turning her inside out (while still giant).

Later in the episode Beth appears also giant and inside out (with no process shots or anything, she just shows up like that), and then the two inside-out giants just mill about in the woods.

So unless you have some specific sub-fetish for worse-than-Attack-on-Titan giants, there's really nothing there beyond the trailer shot. Some cute BE shots if you're into that, but size wise, not much more.

To be honest, I'm not sure anyone really was toooo hyped. Even on the Giantess City thread(s) there were a number of posts arguing that it was unlikely the giantess content - if there was much at all - would actually go anywhere, and that the art style would be a turn-off anyway. This is the default position of pretty much anyone with a basic level of common sense.

(That said, there are already some posts in the City threads suggesting the old "Hollywood conspiracy against macrophilia" type bullshit again).

For me, it's mostly about curiosity. If it's good content, great! But it's interesting to see where this sort of content gets taken in mainstream media. Rick and Morty certainly had (has?) more potential than most shows to take the concept and run with it. And they've done it before, with their Fantastic Voyage parody episode. So while it's a shame that nothing much came from it, it was still interesting to see.

Probably the best praise I can give is I really want to see more of Silvertongue! She was a well written and interesting character, and seems like she'd be a lot of fun to read about. Wasn't expecting a mech to be the other giant-sized character in the story, so kudos for that surprise. Unsurprising, I would have loved to have seen more detail about the vore bits, but at least there were a lot of them.

I don't know if changing it to third person would make it better or worse and/or easier to write. It'll be a long process to do that, I know that for sure. I have a second-person greentext I want to rewrite as a first person story, but that basically means rewriting the whole thing.

Thank you! In a way, she's really the main character, and she definitely has the most development over the course of the story that I have planned so far. And there are definitely more vore bits planned, especially near the end.

Yeah, I'm a bit hesitant to do the rewrite for pretty much that reason. The other part is that I enjoy the second person narration a lot, and it also gives a lot of potential for humor with the viewpoint character not really having the chance to use his name. On the other hand, I feel like it might be a little more appropriate in this case for him to have more characterization rather than being a blank canvas.

To elaborate, I think the Pacific Rim-inspired premise is really great for a giantess story, and I'm somewhat surprised I haven't seen "giant mechs vs giant qts" used in any size stories before. Silvertongue is an adorable pred, and I think you did a good job portraying her thought processes as animalistic, but understandable.

The part with the yacht was a nice touch, because most writers would've just made it "a boat" with "some people" on it, but showing a more specific scene from Silvertongue's POV helps characterize her and makes the whole scenario more believable.

The pilot is a fun viewpoint character, too. You mentioned rewriting him in third person to better characterize him, but I think if you're up for it, first person might be a better option. It maintains the intimate viewpoint and the ambiguity of his name, but gives you a lot more leeway to develop his character.

All in all it was a good show and I'd like to see how you develop it in part two.

I really worked hard on trying to differentiate Silvertongue's thought processes from that of the main character and humans in general, because the difference in thought processes becomes relevant later on as the story progresses. It was kinda difficult, but for the most part I think I did a good job- I'm still unsure of if "land dwellers" is the best term for her to use in regards to people, though. I thought about calling them snacks or food, or something along those lines, but felt like that might be too on the nose.

In regards to the pilot, I think I might keep it as it is now in the second person. I think most of the concerns I had were because it was still relatively early in the story when I wrote his scenes, and because I was working against the clock to get to Silvertongue leaving the preceding scenes feeling a bit janky, in my opinion.

I'm feeling moderately JUST-ed right now, but I guess I can't expect others to be that interested in my writing when I only write to appeal to my own niche tastes.

Anyway, I think the review-whoring culture on giantessworld does actually encourage bad writing by prioritizing poorly-edited episodic stories with long meandering plots that don't go anywhere, while tightly written short stories (the best format for erotic fiction, imo) get pushed under the rug quickly.

My stories on Eka's and DA tend to get more traffic later after they're posted, but the comments are usually less helpful there, too. I think that's because on those sites (Eka's especially) people are mostly interested in fapping and moving on, while on giantessworld the main goal for readers isn't actually getting their rocks off, but instead a weird kind of escapism.

It was a tad disheartening when my first full narrative giantess story was quickly lost on Giantessworld. I got one review, although it was primarily just a comment, so at least there's that. I get the impression that reviews are traded, in a way. I've posted on several story sites before, and there was a definite review-trading culture, and it all started on the forums. I don't know if that's the case on GW, but I wouldn't be surprised.

If I posted more than just one chapter of one story, though, I'm sure I'd get some reviews. Of my non-giantess stuff, the majority of those don't get any reviews, and sometimes hardly any views or votes, but it hasn't slowed me down, thankfully. I'm definitely motivated, a bit, by reviews, comments, votes, and general view count. I'm just thankful I'm not discouraged so much that I stop when I don't get any of those.

It's also interesting to see which stories, that I write, garner attention and which don't.

I post on one site and get like 200-400 views a month on a story. As of today; I'm at 400 views this month, and I don't even update it that often. I mostly just write it for shits and giggles; but people seem to enjoy it.
