The drawings are good, the sex scenes are great (very sensual and not over the top like in anime), and the setting is interesting.
But the transition from prologue to sex is so brutal, it feels really corny.
If he could add more flirting/foreplay and build-up towards sex (the only thing that makes it hot IRL), it might ease the transition, make it more believeable.

This was a pretty good comic, good art.

He still does the commissions on the condition that they stay off his personal website.

Here's the story; awhile ago, Dave visited his own thread and set the record straight. He said, and I quote "I was an edgy teenager once. I admit it." and the edgyness led to guro. That lead to a audience that often commissioned him to draw guro for them (which is why there were a lot of comic/video game characters as the victims,) which worked out fine for him, because he needed money at the time. This led to Angels Corps, which was an explicit attempt at capitalizing on this crowd in a way that's financially reliable, only to find out that not many payment systems support porn much less guro, and that the guro audience as a whole is kind of stingy and he really only had his core commissioners.

Fast forward a few years, he started Vanilla Cookies in an attempt to get paid for drawing stuff he wanted to draw. He still does commissions, including guro ones, but only draws the latter once in awhile and only if he finds it interesting/funny (I.E. a twi'lek jedi masturbating with her lightsaber only to accidentally turn it on.)
