Was previously the ruler over Phlegethon, the largest of the rivers throughout the underworld. She ruled with an iron fist, commanding fifty legions of demons and personally gifting many with the ability of fire and magic. All that stood against her were quickly broken and then thrown into the unending lakes of lava. Unfortunately, as is the nature of demons, many of them grew angry with her as a ruler, and in a concentrated coup of all fifty legions she was overthrown and sealed away to the world of humans. Holds a lot of bitterness over this, and is now looking for another land to rule over–maybe a remote area on Earth would be fine.

Well, he had pretty much no reason to speak (maybe in Doom 3 but that was a different marine) in the games, ever. In the old games he doesn't encounter a single living human and in the new game there's the few scenes with Hayden but since the robot is the one to talk most of the time, mostly to send Doomguy to kill something, he probably doesn't really have to say anything.
In the story, it might not have been completely necessary but I think it was executed well. It reminds me of a short Half-Life fan movie where Freeman is mostly silent and uses gestures to tell others to be quiet as well. Then, at the end, he introduces himself to the survivor he was with before disappearing.

Also, in general? I picture Doom Guy's crusade against hell deeply rooted in a personal righteous fury. From his act of insubordination to his preservation of Vega's consciousness, his actions have always stemmed from his own strong sense morality, not just mindless Divine-Demon-Slaying-Fury.
He'd probably be confused, hell he'd probably react VERY agitatedly at the prospect of a Demon integrated society, but as soon as he saw that no, it wasn't a trick, he'd probably leave it be. He would never be able to fit into a "normal" society anymore, but he could do whatever it takes to protect it.

He's not some endless engine of rage like Kratos is, acting out of sheer aggression without any care for who the target of the day is. I think, personally, he's actually a sincerely sensitive person.

Sure, but all bots have customized chat messages. Seriously, the chat system is way too complex for a game like this. There is the basic stuff common for all bots along with a set of responses for various keywords, but each bot has differing personalities in situations like killing someone, being killed by someone, winning and losing a match, etc.
If you have the game, go to 'baseq3\pak0.pk3' and open it with anything that can open .zip files. In the 'botfiles' folder, you have the files for all bots and in the 'bots' subfolder, you have customised definitions for all the bots. The files with the '_t' suffix are the ones containing chat messages, they can be quite interesting. Klesk, for instance, seems to have schizophrenia with voices in his head forcing him to kill.

Cities in Mars that are open-air are mostly inhabited by demons.

I dont know if demons need to breathe or not, but the game establishes clearly they can function normally outside the airlocks.

Humans trying to be gunslingers in Wild Mars would at most be dressed as cosmonauts, at least masked and outfitted against pressure and dust (human skin can take pressure well enough, if the soft bits -- eyes, ears, etc -- so a full mask would be needed)

Humans can survive outside near the main UAC base, just not especially comfortably. It's located in a genuine geographic feature of the planet that's extremely low and has a somewhat thicker atmosphere in reality, and screens ingame note that there are gravity generators to bring local gravity closer to earth normal with a side effect of pinning a survivable atmosphere in the depression (and also resolving the nerd quibble of why movement isn't as floaty as it should be in Martian gravity).

I assume the masks are there to stop you getting altitude sickness from any moderate exertions as well as deal with the dust, which would explain why only some of the outdoor corpses have them. I assume that the Argent world is heaven, because in the few multiplayer levels of it it looks pretty chill, if a bit worn down. There are definitely still male demons. I'm just a coward nerd and prefer to write about hot demon chicks.

Though there _is_ a higher ratio of females to male demons tho. On account of demons back in hell actually having much less sexual dimorphism, and have far less emphasis on secondary sexual characteristics in general, so many don't know the real difference beforehand and just go along with what UAC research shows as the most "advantageous for social integration."

It's possible for demons to breed, but that's more common with demons in the "wild," so to speak, as demons of higher ranking consider it to be beneath them, and just a chance to make yourself vulnerable.

Many demons are born from blood pits, and a few special breeds are only born through them, hell-razors for example.

The christian canon has ther circles, and its various interpretations as choirs, but it lacks characters. I'm not sure this thought is any good buy I'm just putting it out there. With the UAC tech being advanced enough to build bionic limbs for Demons as huge as the Baalgar, it wouldn't be too difficult to starting building humanoid mechs for humans to pilot and go Pacific Rim style on the demons still loyal to hell "To fight demons, we built demons of our own." But there is another use for these mechs outside of combat. Built in "plug-n-play" features to help deal with the large pent up demons like Cyberdemons.

Eh...more like our portable energy designs (right now) are very inefficient and organic muscles don't have to reach up to the same weight lifting requirements we expect/are needed from machines.
