Perhaps the appeal isn't the accuracy of the character portrayal so much as the ideas behind the pieces. Really, though, it boils down, in the end, to personal preference. And then, some just keep collecting to complete their collection; an OCD sort of thing.

But, after seeing this sort of discussion started in other threads and forums for various artists, them what doesn't like the work are not going to dissuade them as do like the work from continuing to look at it, nor, through this forum, induce the artist to change their style to match the needs of them doing the complaining.
