His work is too perfect. Everyone's always rosy, has flawless skin, the men have identical rod-shaped dicks devoid of detail, there's no fluids and the women have a massive case of sameface. His drawing of Mei looks nothing like her in-game face. I'm not saying scribblekid should go /d/-tier or get gross like Shad, but he could make his porn so much hotter if he put in more detail and made it all less idealized.
Though I've still been fapping to his work for almost a decade and a half, so I can't complain too much. But the improvement that other Western artists like Cutepet and Sefuart have made in that same timespan is unbelievable compared to Teh Dave's appealing stagnancy.

That said, he's adopted the tumblr nose...not sure how I feel about that. It's not a dealbreaker, but IMO it's an unnecessary step in a new direction, when the old direction was fine as is and worked beautifully for his artstyle.
