In all seriousness though, I like your art and it's cool that you're telling people when you see this stuff out in the fields.

Partially related, the last volume of Empowered ended with a ciffhanger and the certainty that a mind control based villain is incoming. It could be interesting, although not so good for this sort of thread, Adam Warren doesn't do mind control often, but when he does its often pretty creepy and not at all sexy. The dude also has this sort of post-cyberpunk nihilism whenever it comes to neurology and the manipulation thereof. I'd recommend his "Run From the Future" volume of Dirty Pair for looks if not so much content of drug-based mind control come to think of it.

This was years ago, but I'm kind of getting flashbacks to way back when AnonIB was new. That had the first incarnation of a Hypnochan board, and besides the frequent complaining by lolicons that it was supposedly unfair that their content needed to be segregated on a sub-board, I remember the place being damn near perfect and beautiful.
Then from what I recall the original owner of AnonIB realized that his site had gotten much too big and expensive to maintain, and sold the thing to some guys whose business strategy was apparently to infect as many people as possible with Smitfraud.

To be fair though, that was actively malicious. I don't think the current mods of Hypnohub are actively malicious, but rather they need ads to keep the site afloat, and its hard to find ads that are willing to be hosted on weird fetish art sites that don't later reveal themselves to be malware vectors.

I'm going to admit that I have no experience in webhosting whatsoever though. Just how much does a site like that cost to keep running? Could Hypnohub's base crowdfund enough for it?

The guy that hosts hypnohub hosts a bunch of other boorus, too. They do have a patreon that makes around $170monthly, and claim they would need $250 to get rid of ads.

They probably don't shill that patreon nearly as much as they could.

For what it's worth I've got plenty of views that get me called out as an sjw, but I apply those to the real world and real people.
