Let's get it rolling, extra points for futa

>tfw it's never coming out
I've never seen anything crash and burn as bad as Breeding Season.
>>1417950
never really followed the story, whats the deal? they just gave up on the project?
>>1417958
game sat on patreon forever with barely any updates
artist's contract said he kept rights to everything he made so he started working on his own game with a similar premise in secret then pulled out of breeding season and took all his art with him and the whole thing collapsed
he used the whole spectacle to advertise his new game promising that he would actually deliver this time
>>1417958
The artist left the project and went to game another game (cloud meadow), however it seems the reason he left was because the dev was being way too ambitious wanting to add more and more with little to no gameplay while getting super lazy about it, the dev claims it was all the artist who behind his back started making cloud meadow while being super shady and left him to rot and took the copyrights with him.
From what i hear the guy had more than enough assets to hire a new artist and finish breeding season but didn't because he was holding a grudge!
There's still cloud meadow to look forward to though!

I don't know if it's still around anywhere but back when it happened someone on the team leaked all the art assets and there was a lot of really weird stuff like bug god pantheons and elf mechs, I don't think the artist ever actually wanted to make the monster ranch game, and having all that new art already made for Cloud Meadow ready and advertising it in the aftermath is pretty shady.
He also has a track record with Broquest of being overly ambitious and not delivering.
>>1417999
it was the dev, he basically posted an update claiming it was all the artist's fault and indirectly told the password to whoever was reading so they'd be able to "hack" his account and basically leak all the assets.
Yeah i cant disagree with you there, it is pretty shady but i honestly blame it all on a mutual toxic work relationship..
I actually have a folder on my pc dedicated to just breeding season stuff xD
>>1418053
>but i honestly blame it all on a mutual toxic work relationship..
Considering the way everyone involved acted that's probably true. Nobody wanted to take responsibility for the stagnation and just blamed everyone else.
>>1417964
>he used the whole spectacle to advertise his new game promising that he would actually deliver this time
And that's why contracts are important.
Don't forget the sheer autism of the dude who was supposedly in charge.

>Nobody wanted to take responsibility for the stagnation and just blamed everyone else.
This is why artists, who are excellent at what they do, should NEVER be allowed to project manage.
>b-but the manager doesn't do as much work...
Fuck off, we get less "glory"/exposure because we're meant to be working in the background making sure you deliver on time. We liase with clients and between staff, plus you'll never hear anything nice from us not because we don't praise your work, but because you get salty when we tell you its not working and to change it OR WORSE you ignored the plan.
>>1418770
theres a few other good ones along with that one too
>>1418213
>we
No, the real reason why you are against artists in project management is because you will end up as just another useless idea guy.
Yes please, that's my fetish too.
Come on thread, don't die on me - I know what I'm posting is shitty, but I don't have much myself, and I need chicks in armor that aren't getting raped by orcs or something.
>>1427003
>orcs or something
GOD DAMN IT I HATE THIS SHIT SO MUCH
Before For Honor came out I swear you couldn't find armored women art that didn't involve that shit
This thread is pitiful, let me help

Hey, neat. It's my commission.
Does anyone have any stuff on the soldier girls from Final Fantasy IX?
>>1427971
Is that meliaduel? From final fantasy tactics?
