I did initially start doing something along those lines, but it didn't look right and I started over. Things completely immersed in liquids usually don't have any shine, unless they're highly reflective. With how the fluid diffuses light most things end up almost completely matte. If you've ever been to an aquarium or gone diving you'll notice the animals don't look too slick unless they actually leave the water.

I'm also a fag for shiny hyper-cocked frames, just couldn't turn off muh autism. Maybe next time, if lightning strikes and another idea comes out (half the fun of growth is having her loom over a puny, normal excalibur as in >>1422064

If you clean up your lines and rendering your work will be a lot stronger, you've got a fairly nice understanding of composition and handling these forms, just gotta keep how line weight will make your forms read. Doxy had some tutorials about this on ex-hentai as an archive, and I think there's some good guides by legoman out there too.

Yeah, I know - I've never had an even hand when it comes to lines so I'm trying to work on that. The shadows part is a bit off because it was the first time I tried a different shading method...and this commission was dragging out in general so I just wanted to get it done. I'm never drawing Nyx Prime's head ever again.

Thanks for the advice though, I'm going to look those up but I don't exactly have much time to draw as of late.

Good cosmonauts, I've been thinking of writing some of my own stories. Let me lay down some groundwork and perhaps you'd be willing to critique my premises?

My general supposition is that frames don't have "sex organs" but that they do indeed have the full range of sensory interfaces as would a human; the operator remarks that they can feel pain when the warframe bleeds out, so I expect they too can feel pleasure.

Draw what you're having trouble with all day erry day. Or more specifically try drawing directly from life (or references). Helps you figure out how people fit together better.

With breasts, just think of how a teardrop-shaped bag of water would deform and shape itself over someone's pectorals/torso. I find doing the chest completely flat to start helps a bit with that.

Yeah. A good way to learn how to draw is to understand how things and objects fit together in real life. When you get your hands down on that part, you can see how out-of-proportion things and object would act around in-proportion objects and things.
A lot of people go for off-proportion without knowing how normal things should look, making their art shit.
If you want to get better at drawing, you need to draw. You won't get better in a month, or six, or a year. Getting better at drawing takes several years. Just keep practicing till you're happy with your out-put.
