I think the better way would be to let Ren'Py handle making her look like a ghost instead of making a custom image for it. Though I haven't tried it, you can set the alpha level of a displayable which should handle the transparency. To make her gray, you should be able to use either the Grayscale image manipulator or otherwise modify the saturation values to desaturate it.
Should be no real need to do anything about the highlights.

It should look something like this potentially, though I haven't actually tried it.

All they are is existing art but put into layers by somebody else.

it's just a slightly quicker way than doing it yourself.

use gimp or photoshop, download the stregac files. then in gimp or photoshop just use "open as layers" and select what you want.

rather than a nice easy list (to the right) you have to find each one. if you save it then you will have the a pre built list for next time.

Princess Trainer was good, obviously. I also really enjoyed Jack-o-Nines (pic related) but that's definitely an acquired taste. It's not for the squeamish, moral, or stupid (it's got a steep learning curve). Those would be my top 2 for completed games. But I'm really looking forward to ~10 games that are in the pipeline right now. My kids will love them when they come out.

Four Elements is about 40% done but pretty enjoyable for what's there, since it's broken up into chapters with endings intact

Star Channel 34 is built to be modded. That game won't be able to be completely judged for years. Like Bethesda trash, the entire appeal is going to be based on what the community does to make up for what the devs didn't.

Probably not much since the core Akabur put together is already lacking. It's not terrible, but it's not good enough to want to bother modding.

What are some games a lot like Summertime Saga? I can't get into a lot of the trainer stuff because its a lot of an unnecessary grind occasionally with little to no pay off.

Nora is the hardest. You have to basically schedule it out and know where she is on what days. The mother and daughter are easy. Every saturday and sunday night is movie night and you can boost both at once. Well, that game is a special kind of terrible. It uses stock template models from Honey Select. Mind you, Honey Select is made for every day people with no 3D modeling experience, so its incredibly easy to make unique and vibrant characters. The dev for Lab Rats couldn't be bothered to change a few sliders. The game itself is cool, but god damn that's some lazy 3DCG.

Has anyone heard from UE? Did you assholes drive him off or is he just busy with his work shit?

If you're making a porn game in RPG maker there's 2 basic routes: 1. make a genuinely good RPG with a few H-scene bits inbetween 2. have random encounter porn in a lazy final fantasy/pokemon esque setup inbetween H-scene bits with named characters

For example, A Zombie's Life: you should be able to fuck the zombie you just beat and have a lot of different scenes of that kind of content to keep the player engaged because the combat is fucking terrible so it NEEDS some kind of reward, even if zombie sex scenes were added it's still a good idea to have many many different scenes for variety

If you want to make something more like a visual novel for gods sake do not use RPG maker; having to click through a dozen screens in games like Summertime saga (which have a lot more H-scene payoff (if you dont mind the art)) to reach a dialogue character is about the limit for downtime on erotic content imo; walking at the godawful pace of an RPG maker game through the same amount of screens to do the daily chores of grinding affinity is so much worse than any other option.
