I learned a year ago that gaming laptops are memes. I have a $1900 MSI gaming laptop that can handle most games these days, but the graphics have to be nearly bottomed out (usually involving various file tweaks to get rid of shadows, bloom, and such). And ALL games make the laptop get so hot that the auxiliary fans kick on and it sounds like a jet engine so I can't hear the game. Right now I'm playing Fallout New Vegas, max settings, HD texture mods, easily 90FPS. I lock it to 60fps. Fucking fans still don't turn off.

Point being, laptops just don't have the cooling needed for modern games even if they have infrastructure for it. I am working on convincing my wife to let me drop $2500 on a new desktop gaming computer because I'm fucking sick of being restricted in my gaming.

you start off with a single room with a character-customization screen for you and the girl/guy/whatever you're screwing. you've got a selection of costumes/clothing that can be easily annotated by user, along with "personalities" which boil down to "willing/happy", "Willing/prudish", "Slutty/Ahaego", "Unwilling/bitchy/stuck-up", "'Unwilling/prudish" or something to that effect. it's mostly just text or audio(if there's audio, make it "simlish") of stuff they'll say during/before/after sex, perhaps in how they'll do some actions as well.

making it moddable or open source might help with some of these things.

They've been testing a new engine for some time now.

Should make future releases much much quicker once it gets the bugs worked out of it. HD full screen and better performance on lower quality machines will be the outcome.

As for next release progress we haven't seen much in the last few weeks.

Still have no idea what the rape attacks for the new cop enemies will look like.

There was also some combat system re-working which will allow for some unarmed combat or something in instances where characters are disarmed.

Also the who story has been organized and fleshed out so that they have an idea of appropriate story structuring for where chapters start and end.

I feel bad for EOPs. The selection on offer is absolutely abysmal, and near enough every game falls into the exact same awful grind.

Sometimes it might not seem like one to people who aren't that familiar with H-games, but I could count on one hand the number of games that aren't grindy in some form. Be it actually grinding on mobs for levels, grinding your stats, grinding an area for random events, pretty much every single western game is horribly devoid of content.

To put this in perspective for you, I'm a master masturbator. In a good Japanese game, a single scene is enough to blow my load. A game might have 20 such scenes, and every single one of them is longer than the sum of all content in any given WEG.

I find it almost impossible to ejaculate to western games. I give up around 70% of the time and finish off to something else. I can jerk it for 10 hours straight and not even come close to cumming, because there's nothing erotic enough to make me edge.

1 dollar, 1 scene games from Japan have more content than most WEGs. It's absolutely insane how shit this industry is, and the obvious culprit is Patreon, which is glorified E-begging and lets a dev go on a permanent holiday with no reason to actually work.

It was a graphics driver problem on my part, and from digging around, I saw other RPG Maker players having this problem for games other than this one. Fixed it by updating my graphics driver.

I complained about this problem some time back and this exact response was given, and back then I took the comment seriously enough to just ignore the game until future update.

This. I created the demo in RPGMaker 1.3, which suffered from a memory footprint problem that I think is fixed in later versions of the engine.

Today I finally backed up everything and updated to 1.4, re-uploading the Windows version so hopefully it shouldn't have this problem anymore.
Failing that, there are some community plugins to help combat it, so I can implement those in future versions. Thanks for reporting it!

Working on new levels, new girls, items and minigames now that the demo is now properly out there on the 3 platforms with most bugs quashed.

Until I branched off and did the demo, I had an in-game day and night system, that determined what NPCs should be doing at what times in the shift, rather than a linear narrative. Right now considering whether I want to go back to that potentially buggy mess or stick to the new linear checkpoint-based story scripting with multiple branches.

Maybe it's because I'm old and from the dial-up generation, but I just don't care about animations. I'd rather have still images. Animations tend to look cringy and forced and break up the flow of things until 100% of it is constantly in motion. I am perfectly happy with some camera-panning over a still image.
