I like more when it's more romantic rather than heavy with the sex, so a cute little romantic tale of them seeing each-other on a regular basis, starting off shy and awkward, then eventually overcoming their differences, ending with a date and then sex.

Maybe the girl could be part of a race that isn't really accepted by most humans, which would give it more of a taboo angle.

I'm not defending other shows. Just this one. I didn't go to art school so I can't give you the technical terms, but it's like art and porn. I can't describe it, but I know it when I see it. The style gives the show a certain atmosphere and allows the action sequences to be more fluid and stylistic. Genndy's objective was to create a show focused on action and ambiance, with minimal dialogue or complex design to distract from the aspects he wanted to emphasize.

Ultimately tho like most art it's subjective. Like I said, if it's not for you it's not for you.

Nothing about having more detailed artwork, and I hesitate to use the word 'more' because the show is simply devoid of any detail or craftsmanship, would prohibit a fluid and action-oriented style. There are many examples of animated shows that have spectacular action sequences and very fluid animation that don't look like they were drawn using the line tool in MS Paint.

I'm not referring to anime either, while that would be a good example there are much fairer comparisons of Western origin to make. Archer for example, uses similar animation methods but has a much more detailed art style, granted they're going for realism and not a cartoon style but we're talking about the level of detail and the visual appeal here. Last Air Bender/Legend of Korra are great examples of a Western produced cartoon with fluid animation that doesn't suffer from Flash-tier art design. Then there's Batman: The Animated series, which is both action-oriented and despite its relatively simple art style, stays appealing through the clever use of light and shadow.

Not only Samurai Jack, but many Cartoon Network shows (yes I know it's on Adult Swim now but that's where it originated), have resorted to using this extremely simple and basic style of digital animation because it is far cheaper than hiring actual artists and animators. Wanting to bring down the costs of course is not inherently bad, and some of these shows might not be able to exist at all if they were traditionally animated, but shows like SJ take it so such an extreme that it just becomes visually grating in my opinion. They've gone far below what I would consider to be the minimum level of detail until they're just angular line drawings with flat colors animated using drag and drop tools.

Archer, Metalocalypse, Venture Bros, modern South Park, Wakfu, all good examples of shows that use a Flash animation style (if not literally Flash which I know is the case with Wakfu) to produce visually appealing cartoons.

I wasn't disputing the Wakfu point, though, because I really do think it's a gorgeous series and arguably the pinnacle of what Flash as a tool can accomplish, But even in Wakfu, the Flash-derived tweening is super apparent.

Venture Bros. is traditionally animated as well, by the by. And South Park uses Maya, oddly enough. The only Flash style you're talking about is one that uses transforms and symbol libraries endemic to Flash as a tool, be it in actual Adobe suites or something like Toon Boom, but it isn't a catch-all term for every western cartoon produced in the last decade. (Or maybe you're talking about the flat, thick-lined visual style that became popular at the same time as the early internet, rather than the animation itself? But your examples don't really map to that, either.)
