Yeah, I already added the intro and few scenes in Renpy (no lewd yet), and placeholder backgrounds.

I commisioned an artist for BGs, the first being done in hopefully a couple of days. It will be only line art for now tho, and once we get the funds we'll upgrade it.

Also contacted an editor too, hopefully we'll have a demo polished with some lewd stuff for the next month. If the funding goes well, we will probably finish this project pretty fast

Orange Trainer is still in development and has made huge leaps forward of the last few months. New art, new game mechanics, more story. All in all, it's actually doing really well.
The biggest reason why there haven't been more updates is because the process of commissioning art takes a long time.

I don't like putting strict deadlines on my artists and most of them have work and other RL shit to deal with. I want the project to stay fun for them aswell.
Recently I have started experimenting with hiring additional artists to help speed up production. I was hesitant to do this at first, but its actually been proving really successful so far.

I put a demo out about 6 weeks ago.
It's in OP's WIP Projects pastebin. It's pretty bare bones at the moment, but it might give you an idea of what the final game will look like.

Hey, I tried your demo. It was pretty cool, man. I like what you've got so far. The best advice I have (and feel free to completely ignore this) is to never forget that your audience is really only there to masturbate. One of the biggest mistakes I've seen people make is giving in to their ego (this is every artist's greatest enemy) and their desire to tell big stories, or losing sight of what their game is about. No one plays these games for a powerful adventure story, or engaging combat. If they want classic narratives, or twitch-based gameplay there are thousands of other games that will do it significantly better simply because they've got bigger teams (more hands), better tools (more robust engines), and bigger budgets (more professionals). Minimize grinding and slow-down gameplay like click-based puzzles, and roadblocks like random item collect-a-thons that artificially inflate the game.

If you're the Old Spice Dev I'm thinking of, I saw that you were planning a game. It looks like you're off to a good start. The best thing I can tell you is to take your time in the planning stages and create a solid design document. From the very beginning: have a clear concept of what you want to deliver; have a clear idea of the scenes you want to incorporate in the core game; absolutely avoid feature creep and development creep. One of things you've likely noticed from these projects and the bigger Kickstarter projects, is that there are hundreds of games stuck in development with big ideas that seriously over-reach what's possible to deliver. If you do the hard work now, look at what you want and be honest with what you can deliver, you'll have a much easier time going forward. Understand your limitations. If your primary skills are in the creation of art assets, you are likely to underestimate how difficult coding and writing for the game will be. If you're primarily a writer, you'll underestimate how difficult the writing and coding will be. Try to take this into account as you build your design document. The last thing I can tell you is that Renpy documentation is very poor. Unity is better documented but has its own issues. Choose your engine wisely based on what you want to do with your game.

Absolutely not. This is one of the biggest mistakes any artist can make. There are pornographic games currently being developed that appeal to the widest possible audience, and they're doing a much better job at that than a single creator could. I have nothing against them. They fulfill a desire for content and provide a lot of entertainment to their fans. One of the most fantastic things to come from Akabur's success has been the explosion of smaller games being made by the community. This allows more unique games to appeal to smaller niches. Attempting to appeal to a broader audience will almost always result in an inferior product and if developers do that greatly reduces the variety of unique projects being developed. The end result is the same game being made again and again. You've undoubtedly seen a similar situation occur in mainstream game development with massive influx of small, open-world, crafting games following Minecraft's success. I'd much rather have a smaller group of very satisfied fans than a greater amount of marginally satisfied customers.

And, of course, if you don't like what's out there, there is absolutely nothing stopping you from starting your own game! You'll find tons of friendly, helpful anons here to help you select an appropriate engine, commission artists and writers, and help you shape the direction of your game. There's so much creativity here that you're sure to be a success as long as you believe in yourself and never give up!

Your honesty is really refreshing. If you're only interested in making money (and if you haven't done so already) have a look at the patreons of some of the more successful games. Your best bet will likely be to include some form of optional content for popular fetish communities with rabid fanbases. After all, if you can draw detailed sprites you really don't need descriptions of those sprites, and if you can create solid animations for your sex scenes, you don't need to describe the sex itself.

You'll also need music and sound assets. Be careful using original, unaltered music from the show, since it may pose problems if your patreon really takes off. Freesound.org is an incredibly valuable resource, and you can find audacity (a free sound editing program) via google. If you decide to add voice acting you may have luck finding actresses over at reddit's GoneWildAudio subreddit.

Just take your time in the preproduction phase, plan extensively, and be prepared for your output to slow down significantly after your initial development phase. You're off to a great start, so keep it up!

yeah they were a choice, the structure of the lips is really just like regular lips, they don't have an abnormal curvature to them, I just simplified the core shadow of the top lip into 2 lines.
