I understand the distaste of the 'rebel' theme. All the satanic symbolism, skulls and stuff could be offputting. I personally think it's kind of charming, if a little over the top.

I for one enjoy his art style, with the exception of all the futa and the way he draws nipples. I really like the shine in this piece. I think it fits well. And I personally don't see anything wrong with the lower torso; it's just the angle in which she is standing.

I can always understand a difference in opinion, but I always feel like Shadman is harshly judged. Like, of all the completely garbage art in this thread (most XJ9 shit is stuff drawn by preteens, so there is plenty of it) it seems strange that Shadman was even criticized at all. I guess it's because he is so well known.

Not that anon, but (speaking as someone who has a reasonable degree of experience in artistic anatomy*) her whole lower body just kind doesn't make sense in that pic. Her hips should be tilted in the opposite direction - the buttock of the leg that is extended is raised and the one of the leg that on the table is lowered when it should be the other way around. Not to mention he's had to grossly enlongate her lower right leg to compensate for screwing up the perspective on it - the back of her right thigh is pointing more or less forward, and yet the knee of the same leg is pointing hard left.

I'm not even going to touch the shading, because I'd be writing this post literally all night. Suffice to say that Shad wouldn't know a light source if it sat on his lap and called him mommy.

I try not to rag on dudes over matters of taste, and if Shad art is hot to you than that's no skin off my nose, certainly. But as far as technical critique goes, he most definitely deserves what he gets.
