It's really fucked up cause legoman is one of the reasons I'm motivated to draw and take up design. As a hobby. I've gotten alright, but I'm still studying my ass off. (I'm not gonna post any of my work tho, sorry.)

So when I see sketches like this, sketches he used to draw back the day very often, it helps motivate and inspire me. Nowadays all his works are overly finalized and cleaned up. His best drawings are his roughs which emphasize his process. (I've very touchy about my drawn pornography, sorry hahahaha)

I could, but that's another issue with the dude. I've made requests like this before. Things like "hey can you show us that sketch you drew earlier?" while he's streaming and he's never been very obliged to provide. I've come to realize that in order to succeed as an artist you have to separate yourself from your inspirations and "go your own way" develop your own style.

I know. Even though I'm a member of the patreon, he'll post things exclusively to the tumblr. Usually a sketch or two not seen. I really wish he drew when he wanted to and streamed, but didn't charge people money to watch him do it. It almost makes me hate modern artists. That's what they all do, allow everyone to watch, and have people donate if they want. Although I do understand why they do it the way they do these days.

So...you know those mandatory system updates microsoft came up with a couple years back? While one froze midway through at 3 in the morning. So me, being the logical dudw that I am, turned off the computer and figured, eh it'll resume tomorrow. Computer gets fucked. Try fixing it with system restore, factory reset. You could just format the hard drive and then reinstall the OS from there. You'll lose everything on your comp. If it's a Laptop that came with a preloaded OS like a Sony or something you probably have a unique serial ID sticker somewhere on the bottom and you can use that and they'll send you restore discs, but you might have to pay for them. If not you can just format and install a fresh OS, but you'll have to get it as Best Buy or something.

All of these were taken on my phone mid stream. That's why they're at awkward anglings. legoman never stated on any of the sketches long so i was constantly playing roulette trying to catch each sketch at the perfect time. Luckily most of them turned out alright.

Yeah. Roughs. Last night he worked on them some more. I came in late though. His work ethic and flow is very odd. Quite often he'll refuse to draw certain characters. Sometimes because he can't. Other times even if you win the wheel spin, if he doesn't like the reference you use or the pose you want, he'll refuse to draw it. If i were able to draw as good as him, believe me I'd definitely give everyone's drawing a shot. But I'm sort of a novice at drawing. Still maybe one day I'll get to that level. MAYBE.

He used to do free streams a few years ago even recording them and put them on his blog to download, sometimes he even took requests and he made them on the stream.I loved to get them a took a lot of screenshots because he got a lot of nice stuff that he will never posted in his tumblr.

He changed a lot when he made his patreon. I still like some of his stuff tho (not as much like when he draw with grey backgrounds). Maybe he likes to work on his comfort zone.
I'm glad he is still making the Zelda comic, I hope he finish it this year.

Just google/look for books on constructive figure drawing. Reducing anatomy to basic shapes in perspective is nothing new, especially in animation where speed and line efficiency is key

I love Legoman and this isn't cowardly anonymous shittalking about him, this is just a opinion.

I think his art is goin down a recent of slope of becoming "weightless" if that makes sense, his older art had thicker lines and more of a solid chunkier feel to it. His art is still great I just wish it could retain more meatyness to the art like it used too. The slutty heels is a good example of this, the actual stilleto on the shoe is getting fumblingly thin and feels improbable.
