I prefer this style because it's more "believable" in a way. Giant, oversized shiny tits really don't do it for me.

on model is an animation term. it has nothing to do with adult cartoons or editing screenshots from animated films. on/off model is just whether you're following the drawing guidelines set up by the studio you're animating for.

for example, old Simpsons episodes have a lot of "off model" scenes where they exagerate features for a cartoony feel.

This is really hard. If you want this stuff to look good, you have to emulate so many things like line style, line color, shading technique, and the general style of the original work.

For simple styles I'd recommend to just redraw the entire character. It helps to have a big repertoire of reference material and a decent understanding of anatomy to be able to correctly place shapes and body parts that haven't existed in the original image.
