I dropped witch trainer because that game was at least 80% repetitive grinding that required an enormously disproportionate amount of time investment for anything worthwhile and picked up summersaga. Also silver edition plays reasonably well. It's not just stupid filler, even if overdone quite a bit in the original. It sets the mood (you're basically locked up there... all alone for the most part of the time). And it does so pretty well, if I may add.

Over at Parricide, we have 2 new artists working alongside our own to help speed things along. We are in the process of colouring some sprites and now working on new cgs for the game. The battle animations and sprites are being updated and the writing is continuing throughout.

In case anyone was interested. Tropics end of year earnings hit 4k, ours was around 8 bucks. We won't release a demo until we're happy with it, but I don't think we're actually far off. We want to be able to show that we have been working hard on something that although not everyone will enjoy, a few just might. We've hit 40k words, and overall our release is likely to hit 70k. The demo won't be some 5 minute click service, but should be at least an hour long (or at least we're hoping). We won't post a deadline or release date, because we don't want to cut ourselves short. A lot of the artists work on a commission basis, and I can't afford to drop a load of money on it due to the above.

Yo, so basically we just post on our patreon every now and then, but we mostly just work behind the scenes. I could spam stuff here each day with progress, or the same images over and over about how we need money for this and that, post webms or tubes, ect.

Instead I just lurk, posting every now and then when we actually have something to say/show. The way I see it, there are too many devs using this as a blog of please giv moneyz for noods rather than devs with substance behind their words. Sure, we could release an alpha now and probably raise a few bucks, but that would then limit the experience of those who playtest it in the future. I don't want to release bug filled broken half empty "updates", I want to just say "Here, it's complete, send me your opinions and views here."

At the end of the day, this is a hobby project for us. We are never going to be full time as we all have full time jobs elsewhere. Progress is slow for us and it's not really all that exciting. Today I'm working on scripting in some new writing and bugtesting some code. I'm also adding in some new sprites and animations, as well as the odd new sound effect or two. That's about it at the moment. This week I'm hoping to add some more voice lines and work on another part of the story; by then some more sprites will be finished and I can add those in properly.

To be honest there's never really a lot going on. Dev development is often about waiting for your commissions to be completed, searching or trawling around for music or sounds unless you got more money than sense, writing the odd scene here or there when you feel inspired.

I imagine all devs are like this, but some instead state ideas, not facts in order to try and raise more capital. Tropic, for example made 4k in a year, but released nothing more than teaser images, which may not even be in the game he is currently developing. With 4k, anyone could easily hire a few decent but affordable artists and have roughly 80 if not more cgs with some ease. It's not hard to produce a game or vn, but it is time consuming. It's how devs voice this "time period" in between actual work that I still find amazing. I guess some devs are just better at marketing this empty time period when they are doing other things far better than myself. My laptop is second hand and has never "blown up" and my grandparents are already dead. I have a partner and she maintains most things around the house, though I pay for the bills from my full time job of working in A & E and surgery. It doesn't pay well but it still pays enough for us to survive. I know how many days are in each fucking month because I'm not 6, I use a fucking calendar.

Here, have a cg in progress whilst I pretend to be working on the game when I'm actually nothing more than playing overwatch like the scrub I really am. I'm not even fucking good at the game, shit I even play on console.

So I've been lurking this thread for about a year. I've never played any of these games, and the only adult games I've played where back in 2005 on newgrounds.

Last night the wife was out of town, extatic that I would finally have a chance to try out one of these games I downloaded witch trainer and fired it up.

Dick in one hand with joint in the other I was excited and ready.
(My wife never leaves the house, I never get private time, and our computer is in the open kitchen / living room viewable from all angles of the floor, so playing while she's home is never an option)

I have never seen videos of the game play or really read up on the game, just browsed the pictures of it posted here.

About 30 min into the game and with nothing to fap to yet I was a little confused and distraught.

About an hour into the game and the most fap worthy experience I've had is seeing the witches panties.
About an hour after that with still nothing really fap worthy happening I went to bed dissatisfied.

I love the art in the game, it's A+.
The witches body and facial expressions are amazing.
Is there any way to speed up the process? Tonight will be the last night my wife is out of the house. I would really like to get to some quality scenes or dialog or nudity or anything.
Is this the type of game you have to pour hours into to get rewarded?
Is princess trainer any better?
I was hoping to play / fap for about 30 min to an hour, is that theasible?

First I played the game as the developer inteneded, then with money cheats as it was tyring to do the same things again an again. Im a person with a lot of time and patience, so didn't mind that much tho, once you get used to click the same places a lot of times thing goes fast.

Thing is, witch trainer is a game with relatively little content which the creator is trying to fill with grind mechanics, it's certainly boring to grind, but it's also better than to break her right away.

To be honest though, we have basically got an alternative version of earth, with different countries but a strong ww2 historical theme to it. For example, most use the old m3 rifle in the demo, rather than some m4 or ak styled gun. There are little to the way of cars or planes on the outskirts of the country, and more horses and farms. If someone donated a shit load of money because they wanted their character to have catgirl ears and a tail, it would be a little difficult to write. If someone wanted everyone to be catgirls then we wouldn't except, it would change the dynamic completely.

Cults and such are a key point though, as they have always existed.
