It works a lot better in comics like Farm Lessons, where there's the same setting with everyone fucking whoever they want pretty much, but there's no overarching plot about sexual taboos. There's constant incest but nobody obsesses about it. It's easy to accept and suspend disbelief, because none of the characters make too much of a deal about it and draw attention to the weirdness. Unlike stories like Dat Ass or Ay Papi, where the taboo is central to the plot even through it doesn't make the slightest bit of sense in context. He's trying to write Dat Ass the same way he wrote Farm Lessons, without stopping to realise that it ruins the whole point.

I really don't get why people complain about Jab this much. Yeah his writing is awful but its a fucking fetish comic, the plot is just there so that there is a context to the story. It main purpose is to cater to fetishist, not telling a heart warming/crushing story. If you mix both, it will create something like Alfie, where I'm starting to wonder if the porn is the main purpose or if its just a bonus to a story? Not that this is inherently a bad thing (i.e: Alicia in neverland(well except the ending)), but that you have to choose what you're doing with your stuff, make it concrete rather than a mishmash of one and the other. Jab feel like the kind of guy who feel like there must be a story to his porn, but that the story musn't be the focus of the porn, which is kind of counterintuitive when you write about incest, which is a fetish inherently linked to story writing, like if you don't bother to show the peoples how they are as a family, why even bother with making a porno about it sexual side?

Personally I complain about his newer stuff because to begin with (early editions of Ay Papi, MHAN and Farm Lessons) there was tension.

People were having sex, yes, but not in every scene and it was generally regarded as something they should be keeping secret from others. There was a build up and a payoff.

Julia started off as an innocent young girl with a father that wanted to fuck her but was trying to resist. Eventually the tension broke and it was worth the payoff because you'd been waiting for it for so long. She became a little sluttier but it was still kept a secret and you could see her giving in to temptation each time.

MHAN was very similar. You wanted a payoff and were happy with the few bits of tits and ass you got. Then Sharona fucks her dad out of nowhere and it's passed off likes it's not a big deal. Suddenly everything's not a big deal because she just fucked her dad and the story went full retard with the "Rape".

Farm Lessons was a little different in that it started with characters who were a little more open to sex, but at least it set itself up like that.
