So, art assets in games. Obviously high quality drawings are preferable, but I see several games that use screencaps of 3d models. This of course allows for the creation of scenes much faster than by drawing, but raises some quality issues.

Could it be done with 3d models of sufficient quality? Or is 2d always going to be superior? Why don't the devs that use 3d models add animations to their games? Is it because they suck so hard with the software that they can't make something even remotely passable?

Except as the player, I'm the one that has to schlep across the damn thing. With no reactive NPCs and very little events (the molester), it's just tedious.

Games like Salvation and Ariadne do this MUCH better. With new outfits/corruption, the NPCs have vastly different reactions to the player and the whole point of the games is triggering events by walking around town.

In Fleeting Iris, they might as well ask you at the MC's home's front door "where do you want to go?"

Four scenes I'm aware of:

Protip: the current version of Photoshop can read .OBJ files and lets you texture paint either the figure or the flattened UVs or both, splits out diffuse/specular/bump into their own maps, and can export each. This is the one by the creator of tales of the drunken cowboy. IMO that was the best Rags erotic game I've played. By the late parts of that game the dev was using the Shitty rags system to do some fairly creative things. I'm looking forward to this one once it gets a bit more done to it. The dev also has a really strong record of progress communication and they could have gone patreon much earlier with TODC's popularity but held off.

Makes me sad to see them getting undervalued by some anons. Only thing this dev doesn't do themselves is art, hopefully they've got a plan for commissions down the line.

I'm buffing yell in the next build so the defense down is more powerful, the other LP skills are getting overhauled too since it was annoying using taunt to only dump LP
