so I've been writing commission stories for a long while now. I cranked out an ebook on Amazon a little while back about the sexy adventures of Heranes, Hercules' forgotten stepsister. A sheet should have everything relevant in one image and be entirely self-contained.

There should be a clear example of each quality level and product the artist offers, with prices labeled for each.
Contact info is good. Don't make your sheet and then leave your tumblr/email in the post. Include your information in the image so potential clients can save the image and keep it on file should they want to contact you later.
List, or show, what you are good at along with what you like and don't like to draw, as well as your dos-and-don'ts.
Make sure to keep it current, too, especially if you're a novice artist without many samples. Always put your best foot forward.

Looks fairly decent. colouring is nice, style is nice. Positioning needs work. Like, they are looking at each other head on, so the feet should be side by side on the dick, but the way its kind of positioned, it looks like its coming from underneath and up top, kinda. Its a little weird in that respect. Otherwise its pretty decent.

They look like they're fucking during an earthquake. There are no spatial relationships that make sense here: the front edge of the dresser is tilting away from us, yet the window JUST BEHIND HER is almost completely vertical. The dresser is also skewed as if the artist were attempting a dutch-angle shot, but it's unrelated not only to the vertical window but the vertical posture of the guy. The guy also appears to be twice the woman's size because the perspective implies a small space, yet she is positioned well back, as if she were on the far end of a bed. The figure anatomy's rather uncertain but hardly the worst I've seen.

But having said that, I don't think her rates are unfair. If this was a $50 commission I think the buyer got their money's worth. If you want "pro" work, you'd better have "pro" income to match.

well long story short, I realized I could through 4chan when someone was giving away copies for L4D if "you could earn it." not even the guy hosting the thread instantly messaged me

my main thing was forums. I was wrestling-centric until super recently, and I threw a few out there for fun until I mentioned I could do it for hire. Took me a while to realize I was charging 30ish for a 10 page story when people pointed out how ridiculously cheap I was and was able to ask double with no real issue

writing itself, definitely just do some stuff for free. do some random greentexts, or better yet if you have a target kink/group, post stuff up on a forum that you write for fun/free and just drop in "hey, I write for hire." once people start seeing your work, it should start a chain reaction over time
