So I have heard skyrim can work well with mods as effectively a sex game / dating sim. But all mods I see regarding that stuff seem pretty shallow and also switch you to immersion breaking third person for scenes.

Those are standalone followers. They each come with their own body meshes and textures.

The body situation isn't like that anymore though. UUNP can be shaped into anything you want.

R9 Fury, i5 6500

Playable for me would be a consistent 30fps minimum @1440p (depth of field off except for screenshots), but I find myself dipping into the mid-lower 20s too frequently. And even indoors, with TKRE I'm in the 30s and 40s.

It also fluctuates as much as 10fps even when standing perfectly still indoors.

Maybe I'm asking too much, but then again I've tried plenty of other ENBs that exceed that minimum speed at 1440p.

That's not how it works. It puts a clamp on all the video memory on your machine, not just what comes from your card. If you don't know what I'm talking about, run Boris' vram detector to tell you how much you really have, and compare it to the 4096 that Skyrim limits you to.

Afterburner claims my total RAM usage during gameplay is just under 10GB (~3.5GB VRAM, ~6GB system RAM). As for textures, I use a mix of 2k and 4k, 4k for armor/clothing/bodies etc. and 2k for everything else

Most of the stuff posted here isn't possible in SSE yet. I think most of the posers have gotten ported by now but no real sex mods that I know of. I think some people have managed to get SoS lite working.
Maybe try something like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3672/? if SoS doesn't work. I don't think any of them will have functioning erections at this point though.
