I'd say it all about momentum Zone and Akabur are pretty much unique at what they do because other than being good at it, they can spend years on a project without starving it's the financial independence that trumps all others' passion.

The problem is that artists have specific styles so they just go with that, it's really hard to copy off a certain style once you have your preferred one, even more so a full animation of a specific style.

And yeah, I agree, as much as people want to draw porn of fictional characters that has actual design, nothing can compare to drawing them as close to the original as possible. I mean fucking any character drawn in Shad's style makes them less appealing.

Reminded a lot of Wakfu, he does tween a lot (understandably so since one man show on a time table) but he does them well. Wouldn't call him great, but he's a solid animator; which the west largely lacks in porn. He's noticeably better animation wise (longer, more complex animations) than animators like Boogie or Minus8 so I think it's pretty say saying he's the best in the western market. Not winning the eastern market, but as a solo act he's better than what some entire studios produce so he's not bad at all.

Porn as a whole could use more talent like him, ideally in a studio where his work can be produced regularly and with supporting artists, making his works better too. He seems to hate that environment though so maybe not.
