Lola anon here, I had a lot of success last night, converted all of the sprites for Lola's original outfits (the ones shown here), wherever they appear, and redrew enough of her sex scene too. The only things left now are the extra Gold outfits, chibis, and the titjob scene. Obviously the last one is going to be a bit of a problem, I might just throw in a disclaimer to say that scene REALLY isn't going to work now.

As soon as I can work out how to repackage everything nicely, should have a finished mod very shortly, a first pass at it anyway. Also Akabur is a fag who doesn't use the system of layered .pngs consistently.

The silence has been due to the nature of the game itself. Organizing the writing, in a true historical style setting whilst keeping true to the nature of the game, is power-mount for us. I had an issue with the previous artist who was unable to dedicate the time needed for the project, and thus had to start again with a new artist.

Unlike other more simplistic games, this game is story heavy. An example of a short unedited scene is available. The demo will have around 5-9 scenes like this per day, with the demo taking place over the first 7 days of the game; plus combat and a few other elements.

Everything in the game is OC as well, thus having to create everything from scratch is time consuming. However I believe that the quality will speak for itself. We are also currently looking for a 8bit style sprite artist to join the team.

Lola DFC Anon here, finished the first edition of my mod, uploading it to mega now.

The mod changes all of Lola's sprites and CGs to make her flat chested - that is all it does. As not a single line of script was altered, it should work with everyone's saves. The version provided is 2.03.

Worked it out, looks like it is defined in a new place in Ren'py now (renpy/common/00keymap.rpy). By default it's set to both ctrl keys now. If you want to change it back to spacebar, just go to that file in the renpy folder for the game and edit the line yourself.

The game is very heavy story wise. I work as part of a team, and whilst writing is currently being worked upon, as well as the art; we are still working on the programming (lua). Whilst waiting, it makes sense to continue developing different aspects of the game.

The demo will be free for all, and following the feedback from the demo (including voice actors) we can review the changes to be made to the overall game.

Mate, keep in mind that there is only so far a VN can go before it completely stops being a Visual Novel and enters the territorial grounds of a 'game'. When doing things like this you should try to mix and match but always be certain that it matches. For instance the sketch we have of the character gives us the impression that she's mature. None of those voices except from the last one, match her from a visual point of view. The voices sound like your average eighteen year old american girl, whilst your character looks early thirties and onwards.

In terms of what could be considered a VN, our game features combat in a similar yet different style to Sengoku Rance. Though I would consider Sengoku Rance a VN, many would not.

With some experimentation, we have found that it works pretty well with certain aspects. The game is in a NVL style, and with the character overlays with a similar filter, it doesn't look that strange at all. I don't have an example to show you all yet, but I'll show you an update once I can.
