I'm absolutely new to this anime and I've already heard the manga already foretold this, to which I saw this episode because these particular shots kept being shown around, but was the manga scene made this excruciating to watch?

I mean, geez, we're not just talking about a young child bleeding to death here, it's a young child bleeding to death, having her hand swollen to a disproportionate size (can't even remove glove without feeling pain), rope literally tightened around arm for the poison not to completely take over, gets her arm broken with a fucking rock and nearly had her arm cut.

I've seen some anime gory shit, like, I'm pretty unfazed by that stuff now because they just make it either like gushing rivers or very short scenes, but this scene was particularly long and unbearable to watch, even more detailed than expected.
