Because they taste like shit and their breath smells like garbage. Though Rea smells and taste like herbs, she is still poisonous. I do hope she does not have rigor mortis down there so Chihiro could still do her if he wears protection. Synthetic lubes would do but natural juices are much better.

Because it is taboo. People love doing stuff that goes against the norms. I'm not sure how this could be done in real life because zombies are rotten corpse that smells like rotting garbage. This anime however makes it seems that they could smell like herbs if they stick with a vegetarian diet. Which is something that is unimaginable for a zombie to even do.

There were some pretty great shots that made me question if I wasn't watching some kind of SHAFT production during the first few episodes, especially whenever the dad appeared.

The anime had a cliffhanger that implies that there are more people in the world like Rea. That should be more than enough to get you fired up.

Can anybody spoil the shit ending the anon is talking about? Depending on the answer, I might continue reading it as well.

I read manga and watched anime, I like the show but manga ending was pretty shit. Also, story just tries to be deep but can't.

That is not bad but sad. I guess, they were being realistic there. We could not have our precious zombies with us forever. I always thought that, as long as they have the hydrangea leaves, they will be fine forever but I was wrong. The time when Rea lost her mind for a time when she was not able to eat them was a foreshadowing.
