I lost my shit when I saw the first episode. I thought it would be some seasonal throwaway that I would forget about the very next week but I couldn't have been more wrong. Fucking puppets, how could I have known that such art would focus on fucking puppets. I remember getting in my car and driving to a friends place to force him to watch it, then we drove to another friends house to force him to watch it too. I am fucking pumped for season 2.

I wonder if they will keep the poems as climactic moments in the show, or have them be the more traditional introductions like Betsu Ten Gai and One Eyed Piercer. Since Urobuchi said he kept the poems for the others like that to more slowly introduce people to this entire type of puppet storytelling.

I hope there is maybe a little more exposition about the place they are going to, the location was quite generic in TBF. Although I don't mind that as much since the characters were the real focus.

I think the chinese/taiwanese translated everything at this point, even the LN and stuff like the febri feature with Ikuhara and Oshii interviews.

Another thing from the Pili shows is that recurring characters get a new poem every season. So it would nice if Rin and Shou got a new poem when they first appear in S2.
S1 ended with Shou's poem and likewise S2 could start with Shou's poem.
