Do it like Kekkai Sensen's anime original White and Black.
In other words: make it episodic but with a small part of each episode focused on a longer story. One episode about a Creation and Creator, small part about Altair. Two episode arc about Creation vs Creation, two small parts about Altair. Actually build up the villain's reveal instead of letting Meteora infodump about Altair while Altair sits on a couch forever.
Altair's story would still be shit, but whatever.

Remove all the pointless characters. Selesia and Meteora are essentially inconsequential to the story. So are many other creations. Altair, Mamika, Blitz and Hagane are the core ones, and at least Alicetaria did something. Either stick to those, or give Selesia and Meteora some purpose other than infodump.

Creations are the same, but have Altair actually start a revolution by traveling to the fictional worlds and recruiting a huge interdimensional army of the nameless, faceless populace that only exists to be killed off/suffer and give the hero something to fight for.
