The bunny is the seventh brave, but beforehand Maura is basically the most vocal proponent of "Adlet's the seventh" and tries to get him killed, even by completely lying to other braves. So when Adlet finally proves he's not the Seventh, literally everyone looks to Maura as the culprit, until Chamot and Hans show everyone that it couldn't ahve been her. This eventually leads to the bunny girl revealing herself as an evil bint despite it being kind of obvious.

Later, in the LN it's revealed that Maura was required to kill at least one other brave, which was why she was so pushy about getting the others to kill Adlet.

Tgurneu created Fremy with an implanted poison nuke that would kill all heroes if they got too close to the demon god. She was alienated by the demons on purpose so that she'd hate them and become a legiimate hero.

He then went to a village and deliberately let Adlet escape, but only after implanting in him a fake crest and a trigger that he'd love Fremy.

With this setup Adlet would become a trusted hero and protect Fremy from being suspected and killed by the others until she blows up and kills them all. Hans was the only one who realized this and separated from the rest of the team with Chamo because she trusts him more.

According to the spoilers since the novels aren't translated anymore, heroes killed Tgurneu and Adlet immediately lost all his feelings towards Fremy and was disgusted by her.

She genuinely thought that Adlet was the fake and that killing him would save her kid and rid the group of the traitor. She spent years training the cow so that she could save her kid without sacrificing anyone. She didn't believe Tgurneu, but since she made him swear in front of the Saint of Words to keep his word, she thought that she could at least kill a commander if he did break his promise. From her perspective she didn't really do anything wrong, and her lack of complete insight is understandable given how crazy the demons' plans are.
