There's also a brief interview/chat with the two of them in the magazine. I haven't the energy to translate it, as it seems to be just meaningless back-and-forth, in a manner similar to all Japanese talk shows. Though, there is a neat take-away:

Fun fact: apparently, when Itagaki was 19, he spent a month living in the wilderness in the mountains. He spent that time thinking about means by which he could take down a bear in a fair fight. Abe Daichi, the 19(?) year-old Hawaiian, calls Itagaki a dumbass for that.
I stopped reading after that.

So, anyway, I guess that Itagaki used and/or uses experiences from his own life as a source of inspiration in making bits of Baki. He's an interesting fellow, Itagaki.

I actually enjoyed the chapter

I like the whole "climb through the world by cutting" concept mentioned throughout and ended on, and even if it riles people up I think the sudden bath time is a well overdue funny moment
