At any rate, if there's something that could be adapted into a movie format, I feel like Re:Creators has a lot of potential. They already did something pretty similar with "The Expendables" (that's the name, right?) - they gathered a lot of known actors and had them play roles similar to the ones they were known for, but also, it was an original story by itself. Doing something similar to Re:Creators would be taking it one step further. I can only imagine how hyped up the average normalfag would be to see Harry Potter battle Batman.

GitS and Death Note were quite easy by normal shooting with some CGI, and DragonBall had a mostly normal setting with a bit of sci-fi and was only cartoony in drawing. The movie is about Motoko reconnecting with her humanity while the original(s) are about her transcending it, only that it doesn't do it in a redeeming way. The visuals *are* fucked up. A good thing about the original GITS was perspective. City shots would look casual, from the perspective of someone walking on a street, and they would be mesmerizing and immersive. I uh... I don't want to be that guy but I think Code Geass would work with an adaptation. Not a movie though, it would have to be a series. But imagine if they made a game of thrones tier code geass show. Shit would be unreal, as long as it stays loyal to the original. Can you imagine that final scene where everyone is confused when zero shows up and then it cuts to lelouch and he looks the most confused? and the live action would allow for a more smooth transportation between emotions.

I honestly wouldn't mind a live action of Geass. I'm also excited for the one piece series. For those two shows at least I wouldn't mind if they strayed from the original source. I think it would be super interesting to see how western directors would translate those worlds.
