The best opening of the year will go to Inuyashiki or Dies Irae if Einzatz,GREGORIO, Jubilus and Der Vampyr are something to go by.

Here's what makes Limit Break x Survivor so good
>music is actually hype and catchy instead of being some generic boyband shit
>lyrics actually fit the arc and can be read as the main character's thoughts
>constant action
>the part where you see the new characters from this arc appearing as shadows works really well
>the animation and the music actually constantly sync perfectly

While I agree that Limit Break x Survivor is a great OP, there are plenty others this year that're just as good.

Tales of Zestria's 1st, Re:Creator's 2nd, Little Witch Academia's 2nd, Made in Abyss, even Granblue Fantasy's was pretty good.
