I feel that way too anon, I even prefer the first half of 03 to Brotherhood. But I'm not going to lie to myself and say that it had a good ending, especially with that retarded movie. I mean Brotherhood had a garbage movie too, but that isn't canon to the main story. The 03 movie was canon to the 03 anime so it can't just be dismissed as a standalone movie.
