It's always nice having LNs with a reasonably Alpha protag and a harem he doesn't take issues with. Shinmai, Rakudai, and Magika do fairly well, with their protags getting serious with their girls, and Aesthetica would be another if the author just goes for it as well.

As an aside, I'm still hoping HxH's and DxD's respective authors are also able to take it to home base as well.

Not at all, it's just too hard for most LN writers to make it work. If getting the guy or not is the be all end all of any character then it's just plain badly written, it having a harem ending or not outright shouldn't even matter in regards to what you're talking about.
