Wow, I'm glad you're taking my advice.
A small note for the anime, after you're done with the manga, the 97 series is pretty well received, never bothered to watch it myself, only thing I can attest is that the soundtrack is really good. So maybe give that a watch if you're hungry for more.

I actually like the opening and ending, i mean
the opening is cheerful and energetic, kinda like how Guts sees himself when he is fighting.
And the ending is the opposite, the sadness and the exhaustion after a battle, just to search one more.
What i'm trying to say is the 97 series has god tier soundtrack, i couldn't see myself reading the manga without Guts Theme, or reading the Eclipse without Murder

I'll never get used to seeing Schierke with Green hair. I always imagine her with a reddish brown or dirty blonde. Bright green clashes with the otherwise serious feel of the story.
