I think it worked better on Gotenks. It seemed to strain Goku a lot but that fucker just didn't give a shit about anything, even though it greatly shortened the fusion.

This and KaioKen are my favorite transformations/powerups, because they actually have serious drawbacks unlike mild/nonexistent drawbacks of blue and perfected SS. Really takes the charm from Dragonball when you mostly see normal SS into Blue and reverse without any serious consequences.
