Anon, this manga has a high-school lightweight girl knocking out a college-age male bigger than her (while wearing headgear) in three hits. This was never going for a serious sports manga about boxing where attention to details an plausibility were a concern. I just wished the actual little boxing we do get was more entertaining and flashier, but it actually looks pretty boring and plain. This only holds up as a teenage romance dramedy where a beta loser gets with the school idol, who in this case just so happens to be a boxer.

Quite frankly? probably not. It's filled with the stupid melodrama gooks love for some reason, but it does handles the beta MC coming into his own after falling for the star athlete girl boxer. The boxing in it is actually pretty neat too.

Not that anon, I read it a long time ago, I don't remember much of it, but it wasn't great. You can try and see if you like it, but honestly Saotome might be better if you keep reading it as a romance comedy with a cute, unusual girl.

Otherwise just reread Teppu and All-Rounder Meguru.
