It seems tough to make a full series out of Kase-san. The chapters are pretty slow and tend to focus on a small number of scenes with a lot of introspection and aspect-to-aspect, and of course there's just two characters. It could probably be done, but I think you'd at least have to expand Mikawacchi's role in events and possibly even add some original scenes to fill it out.
