I prefer after it's finished. This way I can marathon it for a night or two instead of driving myself nuts waiting for an episode for 7 days (or more if shit goes wrong).

I'll watch everything while it's airing. If there isn't anything worth watching or there are like 3 shows i'm watching that season, i'll work on my back log or remarathon a show I like.

I enjoy much more watching after it's finished but watching ace of diamond and hxh while it was airing was pretty cool.

if its something like aho girl or high school cromartie with no real plot then i enjoy watching it airing. If its something like montogari thats all exposition i just wait until its finished.

Both. I watch a handful as the season airs, and then blaze through the loved shows I've missed towards the last weeks of the season.

Watching shows weekly is nice since it provides something to look forward to during the week.

Generally I do the same, for the reason you listed but also I try to put off watching all the new stuff I'm keeping up with on the weekend so I can stay up late watching it with beer and snacks.

Generally I'd watch it minutes after it's available if I'm excited enough about the show. If I find it meh, I may let new episodes pile up and watch them in 3-4 episodes batches or more. The only other reason I may postpone a show is waiting for fansubs but nowadays that's rare.

I only watch airing anime if the threads are good. I'm not fond of only 20 minutes a week.

When i watch an anime that's done airing i either end up binging it, completely disregarding everything else i should be doing or i spend way to long watching the series. As an example, i started watching k-on in january and i'm on season 2 ep 3. Haven't watched an episode in like 2 months.

Airing is nice for discussion sometimes, provided threads aren't garbage and actually have discussion. Finished is nice because is easier to "get into" something if you can sit down and get engrossed in it for a few hours a night, or take breaks if you want.

While it's airing, Some moments are just needed to be witnessed with /a/ to make it more funny.

I probably enjoy the watching experience more when I watch it all in one go after it finishes, but I get more total enjoyment watching week to week as it airs from shitposting on /a/
