Nothing wrong with it really. In fact it is much better than any other shonen anime from that era. Beautiful atmosphere, exciting battles and good storyline. Sure, it has its flaws, such as the last arc being too rushed, but generally it's a very good experience. I would definitely watch it, and not for nostalgia at all. Finished it last year and it holds up pretty well.

Watched it to its completion in 2010 after missing out on parts when Toonami aired it. It was solid, albeit repetitive with all the tournament arcs.
